    Great video again Mike. Love the different places visited. So soon a quieter jet surf... interesting. So no main fin, much easier at beach side to get read. Nice idea of storage using the bag. a mobile phone/ car keys, etc. And the self charging is a nice feature. A fresh water flush system incorporated into the board and we have a system that we dont need to go home - EVER. Keep up the great reviews and i like the honest opinion at the end, so good tips for improvement, which is hard to find i know.

    Nice review Mike! Will you be testing the Radinn boards this summer? Would also be cool to have a comparison between all the electric surfboards out there. Weight, speed, charging time, how easy/difficult they are to carve with, how they handle waves etc. Keep up the good work!

    • @JetSurfingNation
      @JetSurfingNation  Před 4 lety +3

      Thank you Stefan! There is not much travelling during covid era but we did an interview with radinn lately with a demo of the boards czcams.com/video/mlyqI4SwwTM/video.html
      Jetsurf Electric so far is a superior electric jetboard by far (by stats, weight, running time etc). I have not tested it in the waves, but I tested it last year on the lake.
      Also close are eWave, Radinn, Onean Twin and others.
      The thing is with electric boards they are all too heavy at this time. I hope in future they will become lighter. But for now reality is that my petrol Jetsurf Race dfi runs 3 times longer and weights almost 2 times lighter than any electric boards, that's why it's my choice for waves... Like think about it... Why would I carry a 40 kg board to have 20-30 min of riding time if I can carry a 20 kg board and have 1.2 hour fun.

      JetSurfing Nation jet boards & efoils - Thank you for the response to that question. Why are the electric boards so much heavier? Don't they put lithium batteries in there?

    • @JetSurfingNation
      @JetSurfingNation  Před 4 lety

      yes sure because of the battery.. there is no way around it
      2 litre of gasoline in jetsurf gives me 2 times more than 25 kg battery

      @EPSTomcat11 Před 4 lety +1

      JetSurfing Nation jet boards & efoils - Which electric-only board has the biggest battery capacity on the market today, and with medium riding (not full throttle all the time) how long is the ride for someone about 140lbs? 20 minutes?

    • @JetSurfingNation
      @JetSurfingNation  Před 4 lety

      Efoils like fliteboard or lift will give you 1.5 hour riding time
      Jetboards like jetsurf electric or ewave will give you 30-40 min

    I got this board 2 weeks ago (my first jetsurf) and it's been so much fun so far. Your review is very nice and emphasizes the cool benefits of this board :)
    I have a question about the leash, where do you attach it? There are no screws for side fins that you can use as on previous boards. The manual discourage about fixing the leash to the foot pad, but does not say why... Could it be that it pulls too strongly on the pad when you fall at high speed? How did you do it?

    • @JetSurfingNation
      @JetSurfingNation  Před 4 lety

      Thank you!
      Do not attach the leash to footpads. You will ruin everything. I did this mistake in the past.
      Watch my video about race dfi and race dfi in the waves, in the middle of video I showed the proper way to attach the leash via side fin screw hole.
      Cheers

    • @jeremiedublac
      @jeremiedublac Před 4 lety

      @@JetSurfingNation But there isn't any screw for the side fins as they are "clip in" FCS type, hence why I'm confused.

    • @JetSurfingNation
      @JetSurfingNation  Před 4 lety

      ah good point... Well I ride my Race dfi in the waves which has the holes... In the adventure board I obviously did not use the leash. You can try maybe front leash, like racers do, attaching it to the nose (where the rope is or to the front handle)

    • @jeremiedublac
      @jeremiedublac Před 4 lety

      @@JetSurfingNation All right thanks! For now I'm doing without leash. I'm not doing any kind of serious wave anyway, so worst case I just swim 10-15 meters after falling :)
