Its great that George already has a good history with a major character like Phil.I love his demeanor straight to the point especially telling Nish he doesn't like the way he treats women:)
He doesn't exactly have a history with Phil, it's just that he used to box and was well known for it back in the day. Phil used to box a bit too but they never actually knew each other lol

Colin Salmon is a legend. Growing up I’ve loved his performances in Resident Evil, Punisher:Warzone and three of the Bond movies. He is a brilliant fit for the role of George Knight.

What a breath of fresh air George is - he's going to be a great actor in EE. He has that Danny Dyer aura about him. Not sure about the girls just yet but tonight's episode got the balance just right of saying hello to the Knights and goodbye to Lola. ❤
He's already a established actor (he's appeared in a good few drama series so he's probably gonna be a stand out in the show)

George's behaviour in a weird way actually reminds me of Grant Mitchell. He had Nish comfortably in his back pocket.

Nightmare Knight is actually a cool nickname for a fighter, I’d like to see him in action outside of the ring.

How reminiscent was the arrival of this family to the arrival of the Slaters back in September 2000. Both unwittingly “gatecrashed” the aftermath of the death of a deeply beloved character. In the case of the Knight family it was Lola, and with the Slaters it was Ethel’s funeral. Even to this day, I can still remember the initial backlash to the Slaters lasting the best part of 5 months, however I’m quietly confident that this family will be tried favourably by the audience. Always nice to have one door open just as another one closes, my only gripe, however, is that they could’ve at least waited until Lola’s door was more firmly shut.
George and phil will be a good rivalry in future for sure

Colin Salmon that plays George Knight, what an incredible actor - Anyone who has seen his work prior (for me, the likes of James Bond during the Pierce Brosnan Era as Charles Robinson, Prime Suspect, Bad Girls) - you know for a FACT that Eastenders have brought in an incredible actor of skill

Enjoyed watching this entrance (only got back into the show in July).
Rare you see Phil Mitchell actually fanboying a little bit when he met George. Saying his boxing was amateur stuff, not on the level of British champion George.
Really enjoyed the Knights over the last few months. Fair play to them, as well, for getting an actor like Colin Salmon!
George reminds me of Morgan Freeman in Shawshank Redemption. I was expecting him to say “ Get busy living or get busy dying “

It be good to see george have a few fights to see what's he like. But i think he going to be like an older clyde tavernier. A good guy who only fights when he needs to. I don't think the locals will hardly start on him either as they know he a good boxer. Jack and Phil also know he a tough guy. Be good to see him box though in the gym.

I don’t watch EastEnders that much, but I’m liking George, so far! I really hope he doesn’t turn to be a twist villain. That’s a last thing we need, considering what happened with Gray and Nish acting like a thug. Overall, I’m really hoping George continues to be as friendly and charming as he was today. I especially loved him helping Ben and Lexi reconcile after Lola’s passing.
P.S. RIP Lola.

.....like they can raise the dead ? Not only did Ian's mum Kathy not really die....so did his first wife. Who will return after 25 years but will make no effort to visit her living children Peter and Cindy. Maybe they will have Lucy un-murdered as well ?! So Bobby can kill her for a second time - go to prison and befriend the guard who helped his new step-mother Cindy fake her death 25 years ago. The very same Cindy who hired a hitman to kill Ian all those years ago....and out of a global population of nearly 8 billion people manage to find each other again and fall in love.

When he was standing outside the Vic with his girls...I.had an image of Tiffany being the girls mum... 😏 cos that's when I last watched it, when Tiff supposedly died.. well.
