For example she soloed her returning chapter in Part 4 without taking a single point of damage. She managed to make HAAR look like a weakling. *HAAR* lmao. On average Lucia is one of the units of all time, but if she gets blessed, she gets BLESSED.

@@thericeknight yeah you can disable the animations completly, simliar to Pokémon. They won't show them on the map either. But ONLY if you beat the game and overwrite your old safe file. If you don't you can play trough the entire game again Happened to me. Twice.
I have to say despite the tedium this is probably my all-time favorite fire emblem map from a narrative standpoint. I like how you strategically hid the spoilery bit with the camera too.
@@TheAxeLord47911 3H has pretty lame animations, even Awakening has better animations, I think that probably 3H was meant to be a 3ds game, cause is weird how a game so static would not be much more polished visually speaking
@@leoistari I feel like 3H used a lot of assets from FE Warriors in its animations, so nothing really had weight to it and a lot of them turned into “cut into enemy, enemy dies”. Maybe with a jump in there if you have a crit. It was using the Warriors engine after all.
@@zanes_productions Koei Tecmo was a mistake. Hope IS and Nintendo go back to handling the series production completely. Old animations were so much more epic. In general, the artistry is worse on 3H. Look at the cinematography, and lack there of.

I will probably never replay maniac mode in fe9. hundreds of enemies with multiple siege tomes and healers and all of them have 1-2 range weapons. and javelins and throwing axes just don't deal enough damage to reliably clear enemies anymore. what an experience. also worst fucking last boss ever.
You could have probably chosen a turn further in and it would have been like twice as long lol. Some turns are especially bad because mounted units will keep cantoing away and opening up the tile for attack over and over.

In fact, as I watched the records screen scroll by, my mouth dropped when I saw that several maps during part 3 and 4 took me beetwen 2 to 3 hours to clear. Holy shit. It was worth it though.
This is one of the reasons i Adore Tellius games. Having npcs going at it make the battle more memorable for me. Yes It can get exhausting at times but goddamn i miss those in newer games. Now is just you and the boys against the world.

One of the mayor problems with Radiant Dawn is how long it can take a turn in some of the maps (Mostly Chapter 3 Endgame, the desert Map and Chapter 3 with the boulders). Implementing the Skip function from the 3DS games into it would really help Radiant Dawn.
And then you get one death during the massive enemy phase and you either aren't playing on normal or you haven't battle saved in a while and you consider...would it really be a huge loss to let one unit stay dead
I couldn’t stomach either of the Telius games for that reason exactly. I don’t need to see the enemy cook his breakfast, fill up his car with gas, and take his bathroom break between turns.
Radiant Dawn is the longest Fire Emblem game and the biggest, so this is of expected. There are more playable characters than any other game except maybe New Mystery, and possibly Awakening with these Einjehar
I never minded RD enemy phase that much tbh. Mostly bc for the most part RD music is incredible and I was fine with just listening to the music. Also the animations off on repeat playthroughs is very fast in RD. But if this was PoR, then yes absolutely
Ashera has one of the best final battle themes in the series. It's a shame that literally no-one has reached the final map yet though

The big brain move is to do FE9 Player Phase during FE10 Enemy Phase, and FE10 Player Phase during FE9 Enemy Phase.
Now THAT'S strategy!

i only play one RD map per day when i play because whenever enemy phases start i just start eating/cooking my food

When I first played RD, I had to play it at 50% speed bc thats all my computer could handle. It was ... something.

As brutal as it is, it is the game that got me into the series, so I still love it. The music in it was fantastic.
