1st Half, Dean Thistle v TASS 2009, 20th May 2024

Tonight we had a Minutes silence for Andy Scott who passed away on Saturday 18th May.
Game kicked off & soon both teams were settled down & making moves on each others goals. Some good passing & link up play with both defences holding out plus keepers making saves when required. A few free kicks given away but no serious tackling. In the 22nd minute Dean Thistle scored when Rhys was out wide & hit a lob towards goal which unfortunately for TASS went in over Josh to make the score 1-0. TASS kept their heads up & still making moves on the Dean goal but unable to score. In the 25th minute Dean scored again when Zander headed home from a free kick to give Dean a 2-0 lead. Our keeper Josh made a few good saves to keep the score down as Dean pressed on for more goals. TASS did have a couple of shots at goal but the keeper was able to stop the shots.
