I have been selling on eBay off and on for the last 10 years. Recently I have been wanting to get into on a steady bases. I have been watching others that sell mainly on that platform. And your absolutely right that it takes the same amount of time to list a $100 item that it takes for a $10 item! This video is a godsend because before i saw this i was just going to sold listings to see if the item sold recently with high frequency and for the most part it worked but it was still a toss-up and i struck out with many products however, factoring in the sell through rate like both of you demonstrated will definitely change the game and help me make better decisions going forward. I have been using this general approach in a more intuitive way, but I had been considering implementing and setting a threshold as part of my business model, rather than just kind of winging it. Thank you for sharing - very helpful! I will implement this, probably first against all my dead pile inventory that I accumulated when I first started a year ago as well as potential new inventory.
Good! There are many items not worth listing, value your time. If it takes 7 minutes for you (example) to list one item, its better to use the time to list an item with high value and demand rather than low value and low demand. 😀
This is the best video. I tried this out on a pair of jeans I have listed. The STR sucks so I will get rid of them. I have learned so much. I need to rethink my model.

I knew about about the sold comps info, but to have a threshold and concentrate on the faster selling items just put it together for me. Should've realized this much sooner as it's common sense...but I seem to missing mine. LOL
