what size pinion gear did you use?

Had my nitro car 6 months now and 3 pull start springs gone and now here I am looking at how to do a conversion
Trust me you'll never look back, not to mention you can sell your engine and fuel tank for a pretty penny 👍🏻

Some isopon fine mesh for those holes in the shell wouldn't be a bad shout. Keep the air in and the debris out. Full sends be a'comin!!!!!

Awesome video. I ve just found my eb4 thats not been used for 10 years plus and got it running eventually lol. Im new to the electric side and want to convert to brushless. I would be super greatful if you could put me on to a motormount. And even any esc and motor tips would be mint. I know this is a big ask but would love it if you could help me out.

@@rcworxshop thank you so much for the response. The mount page is no longer available but thing I have found a hsp mount that may do the trick.
The motor size is a 540 so as long as the mount is a 540 you'll be fine
great conversion! would you suggest going bigger than 3300kv motor?
Hobbywing 1650kv is better...smoke the tires easily

Hey man. How did you reverse the motor?
you can relocate two of the three motor poles and it wil switch directions
Sorry for the late reply if the motor only has three wires coming off its called an un sensored motor, if that the case simply try the blue swapping any two of the wires from the motor to the speed control 👍🏻
Hi folks. I have a Kyosho Landmax 1/8 from the 90s I want to convert. It is currently a Nitro where do I start. ? Been out the game a long time
Hi Mark, there's only a select few rc I would recommend spending the money on to convert, unfortunately the landmax isn't one of them unless it has sentimental value, the only reason I say this it conversions aren't cheap and would probably benefit you buying an electric modern day 1/10 buggy, car, truck? Hi could you show me how to put the motor mount on and the holes
You need to put your motor in the mount with pinion gear on and line it up with the spur when it's perfect you need to draw round the motor mount on the chassis with a marker then you'll know where to drill the holes 👍🏻
Tempted to do that with my traxxas tmaxx
I've converted a tmaxx before, it turned out well 👍🏻
Did my tmaxx to brushless ..4s lipo, hobao 150a esc, 3200kv......wheelies all day ..just change out ya center front n rear drive shafts to HD 77mm metal dog bones shafts and diff cups ....stock shafts twist like a pretzel....but be easy on it.....front n rear diffs ain't made for brushless motors....center diff 2nd gear has to be locked in too with screws so ya have brake n reverse...it's a process to change over the tmaxx....motor mount I made out of aluminum 1/4" flat bar

How did you get reverse I've put ESC motor in and runs forward but not reverse thanks
Your esc will need to be calibrated, should be a little button next to the on switch / button
My on switch is on a wire that comes from esc
Does it have a little push button by the switch? Or a little button the the esc?
I've been told I need to lock the gears cause they are just spinning

Don’t do this. Motor too small. KV too high. Will cook on 4S. Cheapest motor mount in the world. Get a hobao one instead. Bad conversion. Worst I’ve ever seen
Don't talk silly, this is still going strong its been out at least 50 times, skatepark jumps speed runs etc
