With rare exceptions. Antibiotics as antibiotics cannot work on viruses. The compounds that are antibiotic have other effects, and in some cases those are useful against certain viral infections (e.g. some of the tetracyclines as anti-inflammatories, azithromycin as an agent that can in some cases bind to viral receptors, partially blocking their action, ...). They are useful as an adjunct to deal with opportunistic bacterial infections. Ditto for anti-fungals.
Though people in general too often think of anti-biotics as more like magic talismans and demand them, even when they are known to be inappropriate and useless.

When doctors make a career out of only testifying for insurance companies that someone whom is clearly disabled is in their opinion faking it or it’s just a minor issue. The public loses trust on any medical issues that arise , as we seen that a $2000 check bought their opinion without ever seeing the patient, now through in politics and a recipe for mass genocide by politicians just to get relect3dmthe next election, instead of fulfilling their Oath to The Constitution.

Bird flu has been around for decades. Poor farmers in China have been heroically battling it by culling hundreds of millions of chickens for two decades, to reduce the 'reservoir' of the virus and prevent these types of antigenic shift, drift and recombination. The debt we owe them is immeasurable. As for the new US strain, only God Himself could have designed a mammalian strain that renders Tamiflu ineffective. If anyone can be blamed, it's we the American freedom loving people who don't put collective well being above the right to pursue life, liberty and happiness like the Chinese do, and have not curtailed our appetite for chicken and eggs.

Many migratory birds die through lack of food. High populations on island locations run out of food as a result of excessive competition for food when historic shoals of fish fail to pass such locations as a result of pole shift. All species using the poles for migration are causing fishing fleets to relocate historic fishing locations! This also explains why so many cetaceans beach on the east coast of the UK, as they used to migrate via the Irish sea and as a result of the eastward travel of the magnetic north pole, now migrate via the North Sea. All this and in addition the overfishing of our seas!
Many birds also die as a result of ingesting poisoned water near industrial and mining sites and not because of disease. Migratory birds using the magnetic poles for navigation often miss historic feeding sites enroute and starve.
Climate change is becoming a major cause for mass extinction events for wild species. Species do not know what to do as a result of floods, drought, fires which disrupt food sources. Humans can avoid most of these issues and can source food and water from their local stores. All this and in addition, the
As a result of the use of poisonous agricultural substances, not only are all life on this planet suffering from food and ground water poisoning, but insect populations are crashing affecting many wild species as a result of food shortages. In addition, the use of agricultural poisons have killed of the microorganisms in the soil which historically used to release vitamins, minerals, trace elements and essential salts in the soil, turning farmed foods into sterile food sources. Agricultural chemicals have also reduced the diversity of wild plants needed by wild species for healthy lives.

Supermarkets operate on a just in time delivery model. Food supply chains have become global and complex. The WEF has urged governments to reduce animal production particularly red meat production. Agriculture cannot cope with repeated droughts and/or floods. Stock up and grow your own food if you can.

Please don't talk about antibiotics working against viral infections. They don't. The medications that work against some viruses are called antiviral agents, not antibiotics. Antiviral agents are usually targeted at certain viruses or classes of viruses, just like different antibiotics are more effective against certain types of bacteria. Sometimes, people with viral pneumonias get bacterial infections on top of the viral infections. In that case, antibiotics are usually given, but to treat the bacterial superinfection, not the virus.

So you probably won't like to hear this, but the best practice would be to stop feeding wild birds. Bird feeders act as essentially transmission stations during outbreaks since so many birds frequent them. It's mostly ag-related in the beginning but it will damage wild bird populations as wild birds like to pick up cattle feed and often frequent areas that farm animals inhabit. If you've got bird baths, changing the water routinely and disinfecting every day, or just discontinuing altogether would be best. It sucks, but it's for the best.

I have not been aware of this show or its host. A quick look at one other video by Thom Hartmann seems to indicate that our politics differ, as I am a conservative. Yet this video explains the science of flu emergence in layperson's terms better than any I have encountered to date. These facts are important to understand in any discussion of why experiments with a degree of risk are done to understand virus species before they emerge naturally with human-infecting mutations. It is also important when attempts are made to create vaccines that are an imperfect match to whatever the alpha pandemic variant is eventually to be. The hope would be that more good than harm would come of that effort. I would be most confident in a program that does not attempt to regiment the antibody profile of the entire host population as one, but rather use varying seed specimens for growing perhaps ten different vaccine versions with a percentage of cross-reactivity between the versions. It seems to me that would have the best chance of accelerating the "endemicitization" of whatever emerges, or would it?
