- That's right. We're back to duping again! But this time, we're doing something arguably good for the community. I never liked pay-to-win servers as they pretty much defeat the purpose of playing the actual game. Anyways, enjoy the video!

Unfortunately there was like no "not p2w" server in Poland. After a year of research my team developed a server that has only cosmetics available to buy, and guess what - we get spammed by bots, had DDoS attacks, get insulted by all the kid-owners of p2w servers and so on.
Now we're slowly growing and getting more and more players that wonder how is it possible not to sell items like pickaxe with Efficiency X (???). That's interesting how broken a community can be, and I'm glad that there's someone like You, who fights servers like this one. Wish you the best

Ok, so I've been playing on this server for a year now and I wanna share my experience so far, because I don't think you guys are being fair:
First of all, the diamond gear that you get with donations is literally worthless. Diamonds cost 400 in this server and there are many public farms that make around 40k per hour. Also the gear has curse of vanishing in it and nobody uses shitty MVP gear. Those donations don't make you "win". The only stuff that is behind a paywall and can't be obtained playing the game is purely 100% cosmetic (and if you really want those things you can trade them with players, they're not expensive if you AFK for like a couple hours in the farms that I already mentioned).
With that said, the community in towny is lovely and I've been building stuff consistently for an entire year without paying a single cent. I'm a millionaire in the server and I have a pretty cool city. So how is that pay to win??? You could do a lot of harm to the community with these videos while we're actually just building stuff and having fun here. The worst part is that the videos are fake news. Paying doesn't give you shit in this server, they're only donations, it's just not fair.
But I guess that being a fucking piece of shit who ruins other people's experience is the only way some people can have success and reach a couple million views. Congrats on that, dude.
Carlos Ferreras err, I never even mentioned pay to win. All I said was if people watched this channel. Seems a bit extreme to add a plugin that automatically provides perm mutes to anyone who says "SalC1" with no context.

Carlos Ferreras yeah, I do feel people are possibly taking this a bit far given this video came out months ago. Personally, I do think the micro transactions on TreeMC aren't very fair so I just don't play on the server. Yes, I did come on once but I got a permanent mute across their network so it basically made the server pointless.

The normal dupe glitch is someone just leaves while riding a donkey, that plugin just made it easier because it gets rid of the chest for you
How does this actually work?
person1 places stuff inside the donkey chest
Person 2 rides the donkey and while riding the donkey, leaves the server/game
person 1 then takes the stuff out of the donkey chest
Person 2 rejoins and will be able to still take the stuff out despite person 1 already taking them
this is patched in 99% of servers lul
so you should do the normal dupe if the said server doesn't have that plugin?

Mojang doesnt have time to get to all of these though. Many people have reported this server after this video but it's still up due to how difficult it is to get it removed
It really sucks that they changed their TOS to be like this. I understand how they don’t want server owners taking advantage of people, but not all servers can’t be maintained just out of the goodness of people’s hearts, especially when you commission people for content
@@Flamewake I think that part of the TOS is misunderstood, Mojang only takes claim to ingame items that could be obtained in vanilla singleplayer. This means that if wanted, a server could sell cosmetics which wouldn't be affected by TOS. The servers could also monitise through ads so the TOS really just stops pay-to-win.

@@Baitrix1 minecraft eula does state that you are only allowed to charge players for entry and cosmetics that don't effect gameplay i.e. you can't sell them diamond kits like this does.
Eula only states that Hacked(aka pirated versions) are against Eula and states that they would prefer you to not use mods/tools/plugins for griefing aka not enforcing it.
Breaking Eula of any software can result in a license removal and ,if you were making money off of selling server items, you should be ready to be hit with a lawsuit as well for breaking eula

i would be laughing at this except for the fact i reached one of those high ranks without paying a single buck, including my in-game wife at the time, their kits have rarely any use and are mostly a joke because all of them have curse of vanishing and are efficiency 1, meaning they're useless since people sell god tools for cheap for those who play enough, the guys at the top of the bank usually just spent tons of money grinded in spawners and then profit through reselling and auto farms, which is also pretty doable without paying a buck, honestly kinda feel bad this vid paints the server in a bad light since their community is pretty newbie friendly and all of the so called "pay to win" features just get sold back into the market and accessible to everyone willing to buy it through ingame cash from players, it doesn't make much difference.

@KMatias yes tpaall is a hack that will send a /tpa to every player on the server.
I'd build up a ton of money, but convert it into items (money vouchers, checks, diamonds, gold, etc.), keep that somewhere nobody will find it, and use a custom script that walks around for you (afk) and at random times, gets some amount of item money, converts it to digital money, and gives it to someone. That way there is no way to find it in logs, plus if they want to fix everything, the mods have to do everything by hand.

Honestly, if you look at servers like CosmicPvP (actually quality servers) they have like $5k+/month in bills to pay (or more) and servers are actually basically like businesses some are even multi million businesses (pretty sure cosmic was or still is)

Ay I know Skaia, been playing there for half an year and oh boy if it is Pay to Win! I have met a lot of my current friends in there, and they sell literally everything that you would need on each server (as they have multiple, Towny, Factions, Creative, etc...) at the cost of a damn kidney. They even let you buy a damn moderator rank for like 100 US dollars. Anyhow, it would be amazing to see SalC1 do a video on it.

Ok, so I've been playing on this server for a year now and I wanna share my experience so far, because I don't think you guys are being fair:
First of all, the diamond gear that you get with donations is literally worthless. Diamonds cost 400 in this server and there are many public farms that make around 40k per hour. Also the gear has curse of vanishing in it and nobody uses shitty MVP gear. Those donations don't make you "win". The only stuff that is behind a paywall and can't be obtained playing the game is purely 100% cosmetic (and if you really want those things you can trade them with players, they're not expensive if you AFK for like a couple hours in the farms that I already mentioned).
With that said, the community in towny is lovely and I've been building stuff consistently for an entire year without paying a single cent. I'm a millionaire in the server and I have a pretty cool city. So how is that pay to win??? You could do a lot of harm to the community with these videos while we're actually just building stuff and having fun here. The worst part is that the videos are fake news. Paying doesn't give you shit in this server, they're only donations, it's just not fair.
But I guess that being a fucking piece of shit who ruins other people's experience is the only way some people can have success and reach a couple million views. Congrats on that, dude.

Encouraging hacks on a server is a hero. This just encourages more people to hack on servers, its bad overall for the community

@@HawkUnleashed You got to be kidding me. Hacking in Minecraft is quite different from other games. It's a game where you choose your own play style. Hacking is not cool in normal circumstances but on anarchy servers or to stop an illegal server, it's really okay.

I remember destabilising the economy on a modded server back in the day. In the spawn shop you could buy MCHeli vehicles for a reasonable price. I would buy these vehicles in bulk and then use machines from minechem to break them down into their individual crafting elements before turning those elements back into iron and diamonds. I would then sell them by the stack at the spawn shop and very quickly became the richest on the server.
