I’ve always used our ride on to do that with leaves,occasionally block with wet leaves but otherwise works well !

THANKS! That's the first time I've seen the John Deere with a rear discharge deck being used to pick up leaves. I always wondered if it would do the same or better job than the clunky side discharge baggers. they both do a good job but it looks like the rear discharge is a little better for that job. do you always use the bagger when mowing your lawn?

Thanks for your interest! deck height depends on the thickness and condition of the leaves, keep the deck as low as you can, sometimes you have to raise and lower again if they start piling up in front of the mower.

How long can it go with out having to change the bag.

I guess it depends on how thick the leaves are, it fills fairly quickly but that means you have picked up a lot of leaves. Thanks for your interest!
