- Eldon's Grocery Store is the largest grocery provider on the island. With 2 locations in Coxen Hole, the larger store is minutes from the airport while the other larger location is in French Harbour.
Eldon's provides a variety of products and brands including your basic house hold and personal care items.
There are American Brands which is imported therefore more expensive but after a few weeks on the island, one begins to use the local products too!
Meat Products - There is a wide sample of meats to choose from as well as local provider specialty shops in Sandy Bay & West End.
Medicine - Generally Eldon's has the basic items for a cold, first aid, & vitamins. Prescriptions can be filled at one of the many local pharmacies.
Snack Items - Variety of cereals, chips, crackers and sweets can be found. Again American and local products available.
What items are you looking for? Over the past 10 years, the variety and frequency of items has greatly increased! I am thankful, Eldon's also carries Gluten & Dairy Free products!
There are several smaller grocery stores on the island including Ramirez in Sandy Bay which carries mainly local products but at great prices!

Do you know if this place carries vegan cheeses or non alcoholic beer? Anywhere else i can find that in rhe island?

How long have you lived in Roatan? Do you travel to the US for any reasons or necessities?
Hi, I’ve been living on island full time for over 10 years. I don’t find any reason to travel to USA for supplies. If I need anything I use DIP Shipping (takes about 3 weeks) to make it to my door ;)
