VW bus rusty metal replacement

More metal mayhem! We finally get the passenger side of the Kikibus burned in and in primer. Had to take a couple steps backwards to replace a structural support, and a rusty bolt stopped us dead in our tracks.

Love it man. I have a 62 panel and right side cargo door has a bad / worn lower hinge. Can’t get the pin out to replace it. Tried everything. Any ideas??

I've had them freeze in there. You can try heat and penetrating oil (I like PB Blaster). Sometimes it takes a few days and several applications of each. You can also put a screw driver in there and smack it with a hammer, but not too hard. That may help break the grip of the rust.
