Only good thing, we didn't have to learn all flags all over the world but maximum 10 per continent and ditched official languages. But all the capitals, placement, main rivers still the same. I remember I struggled a lot with west asian's capitals
In Spain we learn the same thing, and I think that in all of Europe we do the same, we learn almost everything from our neighbors, because we have been sharing a land for thousands of years and the least you can do is get to know those around you, it's called having empathy for the others, and that makes people much more balanced and responsible, the lack of culture of the self-proclaimed first country in the world is delirious, you should get out of your bubble and meet the rest of the planet, you would be surprised by all the things you are missing .

The Which continent is Europe on question is a tricky one as technically Europe and Asia are part of the continent of Eurasia.
Eurasia isn't really considered a continent. Unless you count in tectonic plates. Overall, continent counting is a tricky one because sometimes antarctica and/or oceania aren't counted. Anywho, you'll find that Eurasia is a continent is taught in most Balkan and Russian zones.
I have never understand why they are regarded as two continents when they form a single land mass with no obvious line of division.
@@Alan_Clark Politics, economic, um.."continent pride"..if you like. Look, I'm a Belgian. For me, grown up in this western-europe thing, Asia is Asia you know. If I take a train to, say, Istanbul, I'm entering the "where europe ends and asia begins" narrative, if that makes any sense. Still, Russia is less Asian continent than, say, the US would be America if you know what I mean.
Technically you could say Eurasia, but answering Europe would be perfectly acceptable.
Eurasia is no more one continent than North and South America are one continent. Just because they are "attached" doesn't meant they are one.
Ryan, the video did make an error itself by using the icon of the European Union (technically a trade organisation for just over half of Europe's countries to represent Europe the continent. They are very different things.
The EU is far beyond a trade organisation.
IT's a bit more than just a Trade Organisation. But you're not wrong.
A trade organization with a capital city, a parliament, laws, a diplomacy ? The EEC has transformed into the European Union thirty years ago. However, calling the EU 'Europe' is like calling the USA 'America', a wild claim.
I’m a Dutchie and that first one almost made me cry
Yes, in Europe we have to learn countries, capitals, rivers, planes, mountains, important industrial zones, harbours, old mountain massifs and new chain thype of mountains like Scandinavia and the Alps....economy of those countries, exports etc
As a native uropayan I can confirm, that allmost all of that was correct. If somebody wants to nuke us, that is, where he can find us. There was only one little mistake: The Eiffel tower is - of cause - in the german mountains "Eifel". Except for the second "f" in Eiffel tower, that was a gift from the french, like your statue of liberty.
The french have been a very sad nation ever since, because they do not have any statues left and they do not have their own "f" any more. Whenever they want to say "France", they have to borrow back the letter from the german government. That was the reason for them, to put the whole country into their capital. There is no "f" in Paris. So much about the french history - or should I say "the ranch history"?
There was another little inaccuracy. I would not call it "wrong", that would be rude. But, of cause, Europe is not directly located in America. Europe is, as everybody should be able to guess, the capital of Jupiters moon Europa. But we should not be picky: Jupiter and its moons are obviously part of north america. Where else should they be?
Absolutely hilarious your comment, almost fell off my chair laughing
Funny but the EU flag is in the Americas ! French Guiana south, Guadeloupe Martinique St Matin in the Caribbean, St Pierre et Miquelon in North America ( Canada east coast)
You know there’s also a Statue of Liberty in Paris, right? It was a reciprocal gift from the USA to France. Of course, the Americans being cheap skates, it’s much smaller! 😉
Australia’s flag is red, white and blue. I liked the one that made IKEA a Country. They rebuilt the world. 👀
I think red-white-blue is the most occurring color combination on national flags. UK, France, Luxemburg, Netherlands, US, Russia, Cuba, Liberia, Australia,... The list goes on

Be careful, we could also make a selection of the most idiotic answers from French people on geography questions. I think we could find some that are as silly as those of US Americans taken at random...
@@suisseanonyme1033So you just making stuff up we learn all the subjects you do.
@@jtmassecure4488 You are delusional, according to the OECD (Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development) PISA (Program for International Student Assessment) report (which is the largest international study of students in the field of education) Swiss students are the 5th students with the most knowledge in the world where Americans are 31st. (at 15)
@@suisseanonyme1033 knowledge doesn’t indicate what’s being taught we learn the same or most of the subjects you do the kids just don’t pay attention here. Name a subject you think we’re not taught. Switzerland isn’t even bigger than some of our smallest states if you take our best state at education and placed it next to Switzerland it would be a lot closer or better statistically y’all Europeans keep forgetting how big the USA is.
I can't stop laughing. The proud nation of IKEA
Oh I forgot some: Finland 🇫🇮, Sweden 🇸🇪, Norway 🇳🇴, Denmark 🇩🇰, Iceland 🇮🇸. As you can see the Nordic countries always have a Cross - just different coloUrs!!
That capitol of Germany is Brussels. Close enough.
"The Americas (sometimes collectively called America) are a landmass comprising the totality of North and South America." So he might be from MURICAAAH.
Wait, then my dream to travel to America once in my life has already come true!
France is in... South America, north America, polynesia, the Indian ocean and... Yurp.
"Name 3 countries outside of america"
"thats like the dumbest question, how can this guy even that wrong"
answers: mexico canada austria.
yeah outside of america and picks mexico and canada
peak US education
Well, we are not sure how selective that video was put together. I mean: did the author just use the worst answers and left the good ones out? I'm German and I'm pretty sure that if I'd go out and ask the same questions, I could make up some weird answers, too. So I'd rather consider it as many people don't care or know than just saying any American doesn't know it.
Hello, I´am German, too. Maybe, they selected the smarter answers. . .
Always difficult to hear about »America » instead of USA…
Don't you mean USI - United States of Inbredistan?
I watched something similar to this but with geography. Not one single American could point out where America was on a map, how sad is that.
You are so funny! Greetings from Milan, Itay
