- I decided to break some time in the week with a mid week afternoon visit to Shoreline Park in Gulf Breeze, although it was slow. Nearly every boater faced a difficulty on the water. #boatrampfails

OK, the trailer has been designed, constructed and the winch height has been set so the boat can be driven up to the winch pole. Why then do so many insist on backing their truck in deep and floating the boat on?
that jet ski is why there is so many people hate them. people get on and think that everyone on the shore wants to see them do donuts and listen to the engine. Make a bad name for all the ones that don't do that.. That black chevy was launching both boat and trailers was priceless, Nice boats there seems most are set up for fishing.

Small trailers are hard to back up using the mirrors. Can't see them back there until they are too late. I can't use my backup camera with my bigger boat though. Can't see the sides of it.

I think that if you keep the straps on and the winch tight, you could just unhook the trailer and run the boat with the trailer under it. Then, when you're ready to leave, you could just drive the boat up the ramp, snap down the ball and drive away. Probably the easiest way for some of these folks that star on the Big Dan Show.

Every single boater should have a ramp check off they follow every time they launch and re-trailer their boat. One time I forgot my drain plug. I will never forget to run down my checkoff after that incident. Luckily my boat is small enough to reach down from the back and put the plug in before it took on too much water. Forgetting to undo the straps is just idiotic though and that guy should have his boating privileges revoked.

Isn't it against the law to sell a vehicle once it has been submerged in salt water? That jet-skier was so hateful to the other boats nearby.
It is illegal to operate a PWC more the 5MPH within 100 feet of a boat, dock or shore. And no operating within a 100 feet of people.

The dude on the PXC constantly generating wakes within 50 feet of docks needed a lesson. Please do not tell me that law was in the parking lot watching the whole thing and did nothing.
At one point, he's purposely throwing his wake directly at that docked boat from 5-10 feet away, like he was trying to put out a fire.

Living near the water and having to deal with the saltwater that comes up in the street this just ain’t water it’s saltwater and over time very corrosive to any vehicle.
