I have been using the Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 15.6 inch for the past 20 days. The performance, display and build quality is really impressive. The s-pen is really helpful. Here in UK, I got 16gb 512 gb variant for £1125 which is around Rs.110000 with a lot of free pre-order stuff like a galaxy buds pro, a multi-port adapter and a galaxy buds 2 as well.

@UCA540Gj6B2LblPbGz8Mlp6A it all boils down to your personal preferences. 120hz is a battery killer for any laptop. The main goal of the ultra books is the portability and battery reliability. As @DC mentioned, its good only for gaming.

@@sampadkar19 There is a performance shortcut on the keyboard f11 key which changes the performance modes. Depending on your work, you can change automatically. But, I always use the balanced power mode which enables the CPU and GPU as well as fan to the full extent only when you open intensive apps. Browsing and ms office never uses even 40% but only when I run VS code along with other apps, the power usage starts building up. I easily get 9 hours screen on time with 60% brightness with a mix of normal to hard usage frequently.

No use for Content Creator or gamers as no dedicated GPU.

THIS IS JUST A GENERAL COMMENT, NOT RELATED TO THIS VIDEO:
Guys, whenever you go out into the market for a laptop, please prioritise build quality over anything else. A metal body is the most important thing in a laptop. I am currently using a laptop with a full plastic build, and I have changed the body of the laptop 2 times! Laptops are not as sturdy as they were because in the race to make the slimmest and lightest laptops, companies are compromising on build quality. My 10 year old laptop was built like a tank, my 1 year old laptop flexes like paper.

    • @nirair9650
      @nirair9650 Před rokem

MacBook Air is a GOAT compared to other laptops, including the galaxybook2 pro.
The galaxy book has windows, a powerful alder lake processor, a decent battery, a beautiful AMOLED screen, Intel EVO (which is a benchmark for professional laptops) and Samsung ecosystem. The performance is also pretty decent for its form factor and its price.
The M1 is also similar in nature. Thin and light but not as light/thin as the galaxy book, Apple ecosystem, and such. Where it surpasses all laptops is in its performance and battery. Its powerful ARM processor is capable of doing anything under the sun except for gaming without a fan, so it will be very silent. It can easily go up to 20 hrs doing light work while the galaxy book can boast about half as much. If you are already in the apple ecosystem, you wouldn't be asking this question, so if you have a couple galaxy devices already, then go for the galaxy book. It's a very good device. If not, try the M1 macbook Air, which should be cheaper than the galaxy book at this point.
      In a nutshell:
Galaxy book is a very good thing and light for people who are looking for only intel devices and already have a couple Samsung devices from the ecosystem. However, if you want a beast of a machine for incredible productivity and price to performance ratio, then try out the M1 MacBook. The M1 has better speakers if that's important to you.
Note that the M2 MacBook is a bit overpriced according to me so I would not be recommending that.

For gaming purposes, definitely the G14/15, gaming on the Galaxy notebook is limited to less intensive games. For instance, you wouldn't be playing valorant on this one.
For professional use, definitely go for a galaxy book. For the aesthetics/lightweight feature.
Battery life the G14 performs slightly worse than the galaxy book, I would say, considering the fact that one is gaming and the other is thin and light, expect not more than 6-7 hours in moderate intensive work.
Appearance is definitely ur choice. The G14/15 have a striking gamer look which may be slightly unprofessional in work settings, but if you are not taking it to work/is just a casual user, the G14/15 are strikingly unique in their looks. The G14 also has an anime matrix if you are into that sort of stuff
      In a nutshell:
      Gaming: G14/15
Professional setting: Galaxy book(this is my personal preference since the G14/15 also has amazing performance).
Appearance: G14/15 if you are not taking it to work. Galaxy book if you are a working professional
      Weight: Galaxy book 100%
Battery: Galaxy book (both are equally bad though, but the galaxy book should perform slightly better)
Additional points: the G14/15 have dedicated graphics cards, so be very informed in your decisions. To be fair, these are completely different genres of laptops, so comparing them is quite difficult.
Another thing to note is that in the G14, you have AMD ryzen processor with an AMD Radeon GPU for a higher performing gaming experience. On the other hand, the galaxy book is part of the galaxy ecosystem,so if you have a galaxy tab/smartphone, you would have better connectivity and lots of unique features.

Battery Backup is issue. I am using it since last week and found normally 6-7 hours battery with normal browsing and four hour with multiple window work (slightly heavy work). I could watch 3-4 movies (each one of 1-2 hr) in flight mode in one full charge. Also, heating is one of the major issue. It heats up very quickly (even in browsing) and when you perform multitask and plug the chrager it will be very hot and even won't be able touch the back panels/the side ports where the hdmi and type C ports are available. @Ranjit if you did not found any heating issue then let me know so that I can contact to the Samsung customer support.
