    Just want to say thanks for posting! I grabbed the parts as listed, watched this a couple times, and got this done in a couple hours on my '14 Sportsman 570. Works like a charm.

    That would be super nice. I live in the country so we kinda get away with riding on the roads. I can't wait for the spring. I keep watching your vids and others to fill the void.

    • @DualSportGuy
      @DualSportGuy  Před 5 měsíci

      Double check your high and low wires. Just make sure you didn’t cross something, next would be the relay itself. Just make sure the relay is hooked up correctly.

      @Shock1988 Před 5 měsíci

    Is that a battery tender plug inside your storage compartment? If so is it directly hooked to your battery or can you charge through the bus bar?

    • @DualSportGuy
      @DualSportGuy  Před 4 lety

      No that’s my winch connector. My battery tender is hook right to my battery, and ran to the left side panel. So then I can run my tow behind sprayer.

      Zach Kramer You must have tapped into a constant power wire somewhere would be my guess

  • @niewissen9912
    @niewissen9912 Před 7 lety +3

    save yourself 100 percent of your time and just switch the light switch between high and low beam. all 3 light up then. I do it and have no problems. takes little getting use to but it's like a third spot now. no problem doing it moving on trail. anyways folks...just wanted to put my 2 cents in. Happy wheeling

    • @DualSportGuy
      @DualSportGuy  Před 7 lety

      nie wissen But then your circuit isn't protected that is way you add the relay and fuse.

    • @niewissen9912
      @niewissen9912 Před 7 lety

      Dual Sport Guy would they not be protected from factory? don't make sense to sell a bike with a electrical system that isn't protected. just asking...I'm no electrical technologist lol. I've had lights underwater in mud and snow and never had a problem. bike is a '16 touring 570 with almost 10,000 on it now. no charging issues or anything and never even poped a fuse. I would think as long as your not drawing more amps than the switch can handle then your A ok

    • @DualSportGuy
      @DualSportGuy  Před 7 lety

      nie wissen Your right, but I don't know how Polaris engineered their system. So to be safe, and make it easier for me to operate I went this way. If it's working for you, by all means run it that way.

    • @DimagoDiesel
      @DimagoDiesel Před 5 lety

      @@DualSportGuy Both your high and low beams are already protected via their own individual fuses, so the way Nie stated above will work with no issues. The way you've done it, you've just added ways for the mod to fail, relay, those quick connectors are garbage and also the separate fuse.. both ways will work. One way has more components than needed the other uses what's already there.

    N-Rigging and over powering a circuit. If this was right the Polaris factory would do it. Another click bait on youtube.

    • @DualSportGuy
      @DualSportGuy  Před 6 lety

      George VictorLast For your info it's not rigging plus I run this by my electrical engineer at work first. If you know ohms law you can figure out how much you can put on a circuit, with out over loading. Click bait no, and Polaris is doing this started with the 2015 model. Maybe you shouldn't be a hater, and learn more before trying to call someone out.

    • @smoki2515
      @smoki2515 Před 6 lety

      Then why doesn't Polaris do it that way. AND yes I disliked your video. So did someone else. For your information I'm not a hater. We will not be doing this our quads. This is my opinion and it's not gonna change. Sorry.

    • @DualSportGuy
      @DualSportGuy  Před 6 lety

      George VictorLast Looks like your the only one that didn't like it. Maybe you should start making your own videos. And like I said Polaris is doing this,maybe because people like me and some others figured it out for them. Wiring is how I make my living I spent the the money to educate myself to do this. So Iike I said before I don't rig things.

    • @smoki2515
      @smoki2515 Před 6 lety

      My wife has a brand new 2017 Polaris and all three lights do not come on so Polaris isn't doing it. I'm not making videos or altering my wiring harness. I'm glad your making money at this. Have a good day.

    • @DualSportGuy
      @DualSportGuy  Před 6 lety

      George VictorLast Iike I’ve said if you know what and how to do this it’s safe that why you use fuses and relays and I never said you have to do this but a lot of us have with no problems
