for those who is claiming this is 'Music to your ears'
1:00
that is a quiet E flat
and a D flat buzzsaw
and an F note
truly music to my ears
AMAZING ❤❤❤❤
This might be my favorite over the wing video ever
Thank you for your kind words! :) Cheers and stay safe, mate!
BEST CMF-56 ENGINE SOUND EVER!! They sound better than on the A319/A320, since those sound better with IAE V2500 engines!!
Awesome video. Love A340-300. At cruise, I find it to be more quiet than B777.
Very nice CFM buzz!
A shame the a340 first gen underperforms but the sound, worth it
Good noise
Good music on my hears😊🎵☺️
I almost felt like I on this flight. Thanks for sharing.
That breakout of the clouds was so freaking nice! I wish you wouldn’t pan the camera toward the front though!
OUT OF THE CLOUDS AND INTO THE SKY AT 4:46!!
Flew only one with 343, several times with 346. On the 343 sound is no difference between start and climb. On the 346 is a significant difference in the sound.
Amazing Video :) Thumbs up and subbed
BEAUTIFUL VIDEO of WONDERFUL NATURE GOD Bless You
Thank you very much for your kind comment! Take care and stay safe!
Oh no the hairdryer engines
0:11 and for now.... Prepare for take off.....
cool the view.
The buzz is 138Hz hit or miss, sounds very similar to the Boeing 737-800 (engines are almost the same)
5APU😁❗️
Haha ;)
5:06 that reduction of thrust was jarring.
Awesome takeoff... so sad that Lufthansa is probably going to retire their whole A340 fleet earlier due to the Corona Virus...
Even the -600s ?
Micheal Storch well, not officially, but most likely. Lufthansa did park their whole A340-600 fleet in Spain (officially for at least 18 months) and I‘m pretty sure they won‘t reactivate it at all.
Flying Fab That is pretty unfortunate
And A380
Thanks for sharing your opinions! I think the A380 and the A340-600 have the least chance to be reactivate once air traffic is ramping up again. The A340-600 is expensive to operate and the A380‘s cabin is too big to fill when the demand is still at low level. The A340-300 however, might have a business case for both Lufthansa and SWISS. The cabin is not too big while the range allows to dispatch this A/C type even to ultra long-range destinations such as Far East, South America or West Coast (SIN, BKK, TYO, GRU, LAX, SFO, ...). The A330 is more efficient but cannot travel that far, while the B777 covers range and efficiency but is too big to fill with passengers. Especially, for SWISS the A340-300 will be a good choice. Lufthansa has of course the A350 which combines range, efficiency and cabin size.
Funny knowing that these are the same engines that propel the 320s and a different variant drives the 737s
Not exactly the same engine tbh. But also CFM56. The A340-300 is powered by the CFM56-5C
The CFM56-7 is used on the 737
And the the 56-7B is used on newer 737s, they make about 45,000Lb-ft of thrust.

The engines sound like the RB211s 😂😂😂😂
Not really. They sound more like PW2000s.
@Miracify no no no. RB211s sound waaaay better!
@@abdullaharif6455 you think?
@Miracify I agree!
@@757Superfan No, the RB211 sounds decently good. The CFM56-5 sounds quite nice. The PW2000 sounds amazing!
Didn't you upload this video already?
Yes, but I‘ve edited it a bit. I cut off a bit of taxiing in the beginning and added some titles.
@@FueltoNoiseGenerator Oh ok :)
By the way this video is on my favourite list. I hear it to get sleep because of the nice sound :) so thank you for uploading ;)
The same 737-800 engine 😂
Yes, same family. However, different dash-number. But who’s counting.. ;)
noise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Compare this to a320
Wonder how many av-geeks are getting off watching/hearing this 🙃
Haha, good question! I hope a lot! ;)
Arent these iae engines?
No, they are from CFM International. It’s a joint venture between GE Aviation (General Electric) and Safran.
I wish those were IAE. Them IAEs sounds much better
Thạch Trần Kim, here you find crystal clear IEA sound ;)
@@thach67 Nah cfm hands down
