Learning art is like a metroidvania. You go all around the place collecting all kinds of skills for all kinds of purposes from all kinds of people.

I've been fighting my Krita for a while now and I just decided to duplicate my line art layer and do a growth selection of like 1 or 2 pixels. Not realizing I could just enable the sample all layers.

I believe in newer versions, the "sample" section is called "reference." No commenters have mentioned that, though, so maybe something else is the reason for my difference. Thank you for the concise tutorial!

It was the sample setting the whole time, I've been using the wand tool to prevent the color from going everywhere. Gee, this helped big time

Thank you. This video was super helpful. I did have some trouble finding "All Layers", but I guess a newer version of Krita has it as an image of layers stacked (Fill regions found from the merging of all layers).
i know it an old video, but it still works! Big big big thank you!
Thank you Now im starting to learning more things now :)

thanks buddy
Thanks for sharing!
In the updated version of Krita, they changed this from Sample to Reference. Right next to the text Reference: there are 3 image icons. Hover the cursor over the icon in the middle that says _"Fill regions found from the merging of all layers",_ that's the one you want to select.
Thanks for the info!
OOOOOOOH
@@TutsByKai You're welcome!

Your a dimond bro thanks a bunch 🙏
uh-oh,I just wanted to fix the bucket thing,I don't know how to do what you did with the layers, now I have a new problem
how are you zooming in using your pen, and how do you change the settings to that?
Can you make a video about your setting?
I brush the edges for 1.5h of a simple character 😢 then i am watching this
Thank you very much
So what if my line is textured like a charcoal brush? is there any way to fill that without it leaving all the white spots in the texture?
please make an tutorial of using the brush with this
I can't seem to find these options in my version... Whenever I try it thins the lines to non-existant and messes everything up. My Tool Options screen looks entirely different...
i love you
PLEASE! How do you get the tool options tab? sorry, very new here.
I cannot see this current layer/all layer setting in my galaxy tab s7. Help?
1. I made 4 pixel lines and when i use 3 pixel paint bucket lines become very fin barely visible
2. How I check my drawings resolution is it possible to change it without ruining drawing
W tutorial
now whats stopping me from bumping this to the max, currently the max is 40 pixels so like whats the cons to just maxing it out
thatks man
