'ABC forgets' documentary which ‘absolutely skewers the renewable energy industry’

  • A new documentary produced by the “far green left” has in fact put the argument forward “that renewable energy is not clean, not green and not practical,” according to Sky News host Chris Kenny.
Environmental documentary film, ‘The Planet of the Humans,' absolutely “skewers the renewable energy industry,” Mr Kenny said.
“The film goes on to attack major corporations for their pretense, their virtue-signalling on renewable energy”.
Mr Kenny said the stance taken in the documentary is “kinda strange” given the executive producer is Michael Moore, who is a “millionaire, leftist, academy award winning director”.
Mr Kenny said, “why isn't the ABC talking about this, showing this, debating this?”
“They usually love Mike Moore's films; they usually love to promote the political films of the green left”.
“This one goes too far for them of course, it attacks renewables and it attacks climate alarmists that they regard as secular saints, like Al Gore”.
He said the new film, “seems to present too many inconvenient truths” for even the ABC to report on.

When a company or corporation claims to be running on 100% renewable energy, they should immediately be cut off from the grid. Then the truth will come out.

Green is significantly better in 2021. both commercially and green wise. I got a $10k solar system in my house already saved me $6k in the first year and a half and I currently average about $100 to $150 a month income with no bills so I'm selling power to the grid. 1 more year and i've got all investment back, no bills for over a year and a nice little income that keeps going on and on. Wish I could get more solar but government limits it to 10kw of inverters i got 14kw of panels. in 20 years my system will be the equivilent of 180,000kg of coal not being burned.. Ok show me the matsh how does 14kw of solar do more harm than burning 180,000kg of coal? lets see the maths. solar today is tons better than before and it will keep improving. coal is so expensive but they want you to keep supporting coal and paying your bills they don't ant you to get solar and be energy independent.

I allowed someone to convince me that putting solar panels on my roof would not only save me money but help the environment as well. I don't have any horror stories to tell but now I get a solar bill and a local utility bill because solar only works on sunny days, and none of what is produced is saved for later if I don't use as much as produced. After all I have learned in just the past few years if I was being approached now, I would slam the door on the guy convincing me to get solar. I am 110% against solar and wind turbines, I believe they hurt the environment and enrich China as they make most of the solar panels and wind turbines, and our government is continuously selling us out to China.

When Al Gore left politics on the early 2000's he had a net worth of 1.7 million dollars US. His net worth as of 2020 is currently sitting at 330 MILLION DOLLARS US!!!
He had no business or products to sell besides his BULLSHIT CLIMATE CHANGE HOAX but somehow he managed to gain 328 million dollars in under 19 years.
As Kevin Sorbo, yes of Hercules fame, said in defence of President Trump from the rabid Left and Democrats demanding to see his PRIVATE tax returns:
"This should be on a giant billboard in every US city. "America does not need to see the tax returns of a billionaire who became a public servant. America needs to see the tax returns of public servants who became millionaires while being public servants".
Al Gore might not have made his hundreds of millions of dollars whilst he was a public servant but he used his access to his public servant friends to push his climate change HOAX making him AND his friends in office multi millionaires using BILLIONS of tax dollars to push his and their agendas. They've all being thieving off the unaware public by buying VERY EXPENSIVE and BULLSHIT green and renewable energy schemes. Making their friend Al Gore HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS and skimming a ton for themselves.
No wonder they hate Donald Trump. He's not spending BILLIONS of hard working American's money on BULLSHIT CLIMATE CHANGE schemes that were making Democrats and a handful of Leftist Republicans a shit load of money on the side. He stopped the climate change gravy train and they hate him for it.
Personally I can't see how GULLIBLE & STUPID governments worldwide, including Australia, are going to reduce CO2 emissions by throwing away hundreds and billions of dollars EVERY YEAR to some international climate change organisation with no oversight whatsoever. And we wonder why guys like Al Gore who sits on NUMEROUS boards of climate change organisations is getting wealthier and wealthier with each passing year!

Actually the Moore movie had some good points but also some big errors. eg the wind generators do not use more energy in production than they create. The correct figures show the solar windmills create 21 times the production costs. Also the fossil fuel industries do not price in the externalities like the million plus deaths caused by toxic small particles and the cost of hospitalisation of people made seriously ill. Then that the air pollutionl also reduces agricultural output. Solar panels are radically increasingly efficient . New solar panels put out nearly double that of mine after a few years. Coal mines are very water dependent and pollute underground water supplies.

No doubt both yours and my family and friends would be far different than they are now because of a medicine, a doctors skill, a job, a food and all number of things that without growth would not be accessible to us.
Now that we have spent so much time with electricity it is time that we once again step forward and improve even more. The way we currently live has begun to become even more difficult due to the many people that are on this planet. If in fact we truly think that we are causing a global change for the worse on this planet things either evolve or they perish though I fully do not believe that solar and wind are the answer since again they are just different ways of doing the same old thing. Then he would, with no emotion or bias, use economic data to see what the numbers say. I have never forgotten how there was no emotions in his arguments. All he cared about was the data. And the data always showed that "clean energy" cost more than the alternative and was never "clean". I would get so mad. "But we are destroying the planet!" His response was always the same: "What data set are you using to prove that hypothesis? Can you show me your research?"
I never could show him anything, because my emotional reactions were always based on exposure to liberal media bs.
The last thing that he said to me that sealed my final conversion to conservative was this: "Solutions to huge problems are found through decades of boring calculated research. No scientific solution is found by getting angry that a problem exists."

Officials for the Electric Reliability Council of Texas, or ERCOT, which manages most of Texas’ grid, said that the primarily cause of the outages on Tuesday appeared to be the state’s natural gas providers. Many are not designed to withstand such low temperatures on equipment or during production.
By some estimates, nearly half of the state’s natural gas production has screeched to a halt due to the extremely low temperatures, while freezing components at natural gas-fired power plants have forced some operators to shut down.
More than half of ERCOT’s winter generating capacity, largely powered by natural gas, was offline due to the storm, an estimated 45 gigawatts, according to Dan Woodfin, a senior director at ERCOT.
“It appears that a lot of the generation that has gone offline today has been primarily due to issues on the natural gas system,” Woodfin said during a Tuesday call with reporters.

You don't need everything to run off wind and solar. Next-gen nuclear and hydro can also contribute. What is not mentioned here is offshore wind, which has no geographic footprint to speak of, as long as ships have working GPSs. Large-scale solar plants in the desert occupy an area with very, very minimal wildlife, and once they are up and running there is no carbon footprint. Once the manufacturing processes are decarbonized as well (well-underway with alternative cements and new chemical processes for steel), then you have a near-total decarbonization of the energy lifecycle from construction, production, distribution and consumption. The massive elephant in the room missing here is nuclear. Liquid fluoride thorium reactors could fill the gap vacated by coal and natural gas within 10 years; they are inherently safe, use virtually no water, are predicted to have short construction times with a fraction of the carbon footprint of traditional uranium cycle reactors, and of course have no emissions. I do not understand why the US is not making a headlong rush into next-gen nuclear. Nuclear is the safest, most energy dense and least carbon-intensive (when the aforementioned manufacturing decarbonization process is accomplished, which it will be) option that the world has. It would be very narrow-minded not to take advantage of it.
