FishFinder install on Pelican PWR 100

- Welcome back to another video of working on the kayak. Today we are going to be installing my brand new Lowrance Hook2 7in triple shot as well as the yak attack transducer mount. I also purchases the navionics mapping micro SD card. Over all the job isn't to hard to do and you will only need a few tools to put it all together. Awsome install bro! I used the scupper, for my Garmin striker 4. Paid for mine in February, and recieved my catch pwr in July. Had the 2.5 Suzuki waiting, along with at least another $1,000 in accessories. I'm still installing. I did lower my seat, but can add the swivel back on. Since I'm 5ft 7 and 151lbs. She gets on plane fast, and with all my gear, I've had it easily over 12.8 mph. My 1st kayak, and I wanted something I wouldn't want to upgrade. Plus pre-wired is amazing. Be safe bro..🎣🤟🙏

What battery are you using to power the kayak?
I am on the verge of doing the same thing with my Garmin 7cv. The plastic on that battery cover seems pretty thin. Did you think about using a backing plate or large washers ?
Large washers seem to hold it really goof

It’s not bad, I am thinking about getting that ram mount and moving it to the rail so it’s easier to see as well as adjust settings on the screen
I just ordered the Garmin stricker 4. I was thinking about installing it on the scupper area under my seat. Did you consider that area?
Yea! I wasn’t sure how it would go through the bottom of the yak, I’ve read mixed things about it
U didn't want to mount the fish finder through the scupper? There's a channel in-between the hull for a transducer. I seen people do it all the time.
If I bought the small one yes I would have mounted there, but the triple shot one is quiet large and I do a lot of shallow water fishing and wanna have the option of raising it up out of the way
I think you should tie a string around your camera and spin it around real fast so I can truly get dizzy. Sorry bro. Just can’t.
