Heron's formula states that the area of a triangle whose sides have lengths a, b, and c is
A=√s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)
where s is the semi-perimeter of the triangle; that is,
s=a+b+c/2
Heron's formula is used to determine the area of triangles when lengths of all their sides are given or the area of quadrilaterals. We also know it as Hero's formula.

yes ,bcoz median is a line segement that joins mid point of one side of a triangle to opposite vertex. hence, it divides the triangle into two triangles of equal areas.
