Dave my good friend, great recipe, my 2 young grand daughters will really like this, & i know it's not part of the recipe, but they are gonna want their broccolli florets simmered in with the beef, carrots, etc... sorry about changing the recipe a little, but they are only 6&3, & they want broccolli in practically any of their food like your recipe. It is hard to tell them no when it is a healthy food for them pal

Years ago I would make a similar dish with minced beef. My young daughter proudly labelled it "Ricey Mincey Thing". It was her favourite.
