How is the genius going scott? I’ve been running a spark for enduro this past year but have broken anything and everything on it and it has kind of dampened my spirits at buying another Scott, is it worth trying a new genius or switch to a different brand? Cheers
Hey man, definitely think it would be worth changing it out for a genius as it is engineered for what you're doing on it. The spark is a great lightweight xc/trail bike but isn't quite burly enough for taking regular hard abuse that you're giving it hence all the parts giving up. Can switch to a different brand but don't think that's the issue.
DBF Films get the genius its built for this aggressive stuff they may look the same but they are very different
Hey dude! So far I have to say I am quite genuinely loving it. I've hurled a load of abuse at it and it's stood up to everything. The suspension is a improvement on the old Genius LT and I loved that. With it now being so progressive it feels as though you have way more than 150mm! Geometry is spot on and a large size feels great, I'm 6 ft 2!

After I upgraded my BMC Agonist 02 TWO to both XTR Di2 and iRD myself I felt like really having climbed to the top of biking components but here he goes talking about spares to take with including a rear derailleur - Another fuckin Shimano XTR Di2 RD-M9050 Rear Derailleur just as a spare!? WTF man...

Did you not let the air out of your suspension?
totally unnecessary. if you just sit on the bike @ 20% sag the pressure in your fork/damper is higher than on any circumstances on the flight

The bag looks neat but personnally i would prefer some more cushionning, airport workers in france just throw stuff into and out of the planet and i would not trust this bag to keep my bike safe
Why do you have to take off the rotors??
Jonathan Watson rotors are the most common thing to get bent when in a bike bag.

Appricate your dropper isn’t a Reverb but I’m always super concerned about putting it in the stand and clamping it via the top. You seem to do it with little concern. I’d heard you can pull air through the seals. Is this just an urban myth? and should just clamp away?
I would clamp it fine for these light jobs but not for if you are putting pressure on the bike i.e. a bearing change
