I held my baby girl for everything. She's so happy at 6. Very expressive. Very cuddly. Regulates her emotions well for a 6 year old. Please give these children ALL.... LITERALLY ALL THE LOVE YOU CAN MUSTER. People in the outside world aren't the kindest to each other. Please love on them.
Completely agree! My 7 year old son is independent and not clingy, but is compassionate and emotionally intelligent, and cuddles the heck out out of animals and his baby sister. I will never regret holding him while he fell asleep or hugging him when he was scared or upset.
My dad saved my son...he was napping in his playpen in the living room while I cleaned house...my dad walked in n patted him on the back ..he said... HE'S NOT BREATHING! HE quickly picked him up n my baby started breathing again! I held him for EVERY sleep after that! Thank God, my dad came in when he did!!!❤❤❤
This gave me full body goosebumps🥺🥺🥺 What an angel your father was omg. Praise God🙏🏼🩵 I feel so much safer holding her for every sleep also! Plus we have the owlet just in case!

Maybe your 13 yr old will not want to snuggle, get quick hugs, or longer hugs, if they will!! NOTHING REPLACES THE MOTHER/CHILD TOUCH! OH, AND FATHER/CHILD TOUCH IS JUST AS NECESSARY!! I truly believe this. Where are you from? It seems America is one of the only countries that practices putting your baby in a room all alone pretty much since they’re born.
Beautiful but you have to teach him to selfsoothe and deal with the enviornment. You have to teach him skills and push him to acheive his goal of self-rescuing/regulating. Attachment parenting is child abuse. You can hold him i think it's beautiful to bond but he nedds to learn self-soothing as well!!
Not wrong at all! But you might want to consider sleep training at some point as he will demand this for every nap sooner than you can imagine ❤it will only be enjoyable for a little while and then you will be utterly exhausted.
Read or listen to someone who know about children . You cant hold the baby 24 hours the baby is out of you not in you . Baby will learn from girst second when you cut umbilical cord. Love has many ways
And if I didn’t hold her every chance I got, when she turned 8 and stopped letting me hold her I would be saying man, I wish I held her every chance I got when she was little.
