Between each show of the festival, we were kidnapping a person in the audience, which we were taking to a secret room where an artist was waiting.
Between the two of them, a unique experience : a One To One concert.

It keeps you guessing. As they're taking the blindfold off, you don't know if you're going to be reading a ransom note or be serenaded by the likes of Bon Iver. It's almost Durden-esque.
I would argue that kind of disorientation is exactly why this would be more intimate than without. Sis probably had no idea where the hell she was, but damn glad to be there

For all those who said she didn't know who he was, she clearly said his full name right after he only introduced himself as Justin. She knew who he was. She seemed nervous with all the cameras.

Many fans of Bon Iver don't even know his last name... He's actually known as Bon Iver and not Justin Vernon. So she know about him obiously and very well. She was probably expecting he would say "Hi, i'm bon iver".

Love this in theory, but the way they filmed it shattered the illusion of intimacy. Her body language makes it clear that she's trying to be calm but she's put on guard or disoriented by the observation of a camera/cameraperson, instead fully present in the moment with just him. This, but filmed with hidden cameras (that she's told about later) could be really special, though.

I’m sure it’s hard to kidnap someone only to find themselves in a creepy, dank alleyway with a bowl on their head, without the promise of cameras being present.
disagree , well it depends on the person and how much you actually love yourself , if you are camera shy to bad you lost the moment ,but you should forget everything around you and just let go , maybe even dance , close the eyes , spread the arms ..well question is do you really love Justin Vernon music that much so it can make you let go in any moment, i know for myself i would be flying at any given moment in time
That isn't an appropriate question at all. Being an extrovert or comfortable in an unusual situation isn't a measure of your love for an artist. Have you never seen people freeze when they meet their idols? I'd argue that perhaps THAT is a more valid indication of how much an artist means to them.

You are so right. I love his chest voice. My favourites of him are his songs before Bon Iver and then his live versions of Bon Iver songs where he uses his chest voice.
I was also kidnapped, they never posted my video because I farted a belter half way through the song. Great experience though.

Justin version of his song here is beautiful and captivating for me personally. I am autistic and 40 years old. Music helps me process and understand emotions and this song is wonderful and I thank you for doing this.

One to one with bon iver? My biggest dream since his music saved my life in the worst year of my life. Seemed like the only beautiful thing to hold on. Now, recovered, I can still say that that dream to meet him and have a one to one concert with him is still a beautiful thing to hold on. Thank you, for giving me the sound of love in your songs

I love this setting. The weathered and faded walls look fantastic and the handheld camera sneaking closer through the hallway then rotating around them is fantastic. As for the song, it’s Justin Vernon, it’s great.
