    Nice video! I also love this tent, I have spent 2 months in this tent plus several other camping trips over the past few years and it was really comfortable. I was able to have a queen-size mattress, fold-up chair, and table to have a spot for meals inside the tent when the weather wasn't enjoyable outside. The pockets and dry lines are great and can hold lots of weight. I also use a large tarp as the footprint so that I have nice flooring in each vestibule. I used both vestibules on both sides for my gear. During hot summer months, one downside is that I get so many bees attracted to this tent's vestibules, and they are able to fly under through the gap at the bottom of the vestibule then they fly up and get stuck. To help this problem I vent the top zipper so they have a greater chance of getting out themselves. Luckily I have only been stung once on my finger after the 300+ bees I have had in my vestibule! (Fly's too, but I don't care much about their lives. Sorry fly lovers!) It does get cold during winter, but so have my all seasons tents! Shoveling snow around the tent edges helps drastically in my opinion. I have camped in the sierras during winter with this tent but the proper gear is a must!

    I just set mine up for the first time today. It just screams quality. The poles are thick and feel robust. The Velcro that seals the windows shut were nice too. I’m very impressed with it. Big time.

      Ryan Wehr that’s awesome! I’m so glad someone else posted about their feelings on it too! Thanks for sharing Ryan! Happy camping!

    Gonna try this one out to replace a Teton Sports Canvas tent that is heavy af. Your setup video doesn’t scare me, looks like setting up a Stormbreak with a few more steps. The large vestibule should come in clutch for my fam.

    thank you for this video! I just spent a weekend on my Wanona (BTW , Wanona is the name of a sequoia tree at the Sequoia National Park.) I noticed that your husband didn't open completely the back door which becomes a second vestibule. Is it mine different than yours? Or he didn't open it on purpose? Thanks again!!

      Hi Rosie! I just saw this. Sorry for the delay. I don’t think so, but I will have to check it out! Maybe it’s a different iteration of it. If I find out I’ll let you know. Thanks for the question!

    I can’t believe they let the main entrance a mesh only side….its makes this a summer tent. Forget about Midwest north camping. You’ll need a heater

    Hi. I was thinking abt gettimg this tent. Have you guys tested it in strong winds and do I need the fly sheet? Thanks you so much for making this video. :)

      Hi there! I haven’t tried it in high winds but if I do I will update the video. Have a great day! I guess I would recommend bringing the fly sheet just in case. Thank you so much for the support!! 😊

    The bent poles in the corner, is that from the tropical storm putting stress on it or is it from regular use shaping the form at the bend of the corner?

    • @aloeclover8177
      @aloeclover8177  Před 2 lety +3

      The poles are actually bent by design to create the structure for the tent. Hope this helps!

      @@aloeclover8177 After watching your video, I bought the tent and haven’t used it yet. Noticed the poles were all straight from the factory.

    How well does the tent hold up in the rain and high wind?

      @aloeclover8177  Před 3 lety +1

      Hi there! Rain it’s great, I am not 100% certain in high winds but typical winds it’s just fine. Great question. If I find out more information I will let you know! Have a great day.

      Me as well, updated design I guess, I like it because you can take the fly off to dry it, or stargaze. It was one of the main selling points for me.

      @ImThatUsedCarGuy Před 3 lety +1

      Yup. It was driving me crazy because I watched several videos showing set up and not one showed a 2 piece. Finally called Scheels and found out the 2 piece is the newer model. It does offer more options and I love it!!

    How is this considered a 6 person tent? Looks more like a 3 person tent. 😅
