    Sarah Al Madani went from going bankrupt to a successful serial entrepreneur, tune in to this amazing story of perseverance.
    She spoke about the importance of taking risks in shaping the future. She also shared her own journey by focusing on importance of innovation and leadership in shaping the future. H.E DR. Sara Al Madani, is a serial entrepreneur in the field of fashion, restaurants, tech, and more.
    In 2014, she was appointed as a Board Member at Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, making her the youngest board member.
    In 2017, Sara was selected to be on the board of the UAE SME Council in the Ministry of Economy of Dubai. Among the awards received are the Emirates Woman Award, Ecosystem Influencer of the Year Award, GCC Inspiring Women Leaders Award (URS Asia One), Leading Emirati Mompreneur, and The Middle East Woman Leadership Award (World HRD Congress). This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community

    Her hard lessons learned are exactly what most people should listen to. Don't go into business with friends (or family) or partners, expecting them to have you in their best interest. Especially if all they can bring is 'vision and brain' while you pay for everything. Everything should be 50/50 at a minimum. A lot of founders seem to think working with friends will be fun, and everyone will get along, until money rolls in, and people want to decide what to do with it. Her bankruptcy lesson is a harsh lesson, I learned it myself!
