Does anyone know what colour wire the headlight is on the light plug? I would like to tap into it to hook up some interior ambient lighting that's one whenever the light is on.

Remove the knee bolster?? Take apart the dash panel?? You must be following the GM dealership guide (on how to screw your customers). I the video, when he starts unscrewing the knee bolster, you can see a dark grey panel on the far left. I you use a flat head screwdriver, it pops right out and you have full access to the back of that switch panel. GM says to bill customers 1.8 hrs of labor + parts. Job actually takes about 10 minutes.

you could maybe just pop out the headlight switch without having to take off the entire dash panel? For sure need to loosen, but I'll let you know how it turns out

You don’t need to take it off entirely I just loosened 2 screws and just popped that side and got it out
