Jesse's voice is smooth and raspy and relaxed and strained all at once. no band has really captured my attention the way this one has. the music they make has always been so unique and I have always been so in love with it. Jesse's voice somehow matches the feel of the guitar and drums and the lyrics are always so, so, SO real. I honestly admire this band so much. gooooood job

This song was literally made for the movie (info from Red Bull website). Yes the band did not just want this to be for the movie characters, but for the people listening to the song to relate too and yes you might say I'm a bit crazy for texting 3 years later to this text, but this message really bothered me as a fan of the song and why it means a lot, and because I really related to it because of Peter Parker/ Spider-Man cause of the life we live, but yeah that's all I wanted to say.
This version is more nostalgic than the original one.

I saw them a few months ago, it was the worst concert of my life. I love their music, but it was nothing like this. Jesse James seemed so distracted, the roadies messed up their sound system. It was their last show on the tour, too. You think they would have shown Reno, Nevada a little more love.

I first heard this band in my moms car. the I love you album, we binged it. I remember thinking that I’d never before heard music more pure, honest, intimate. This is emotional shit that’s rare in music today. Please cherish this.
For years I put no faces to the music, because I wanted it to be that feeling over and over. I didn’t want to know a single thing about this band. I didn’t want to associate this with anything but memories in a car, driving to boulder. Every time they came on I sorta just fell in love all over again. Now, I know the names and.. okay I’ll admit it, Jesse Rutherford is a stunner, or whatever. But now I have faces to the music. and this music is still beautiful to me.
