The close up of that last little one with a with a mouth full of fruit fly totally made my day! It's just inconceivable how cute these little dudes are!
Thank you! Yeah .. I decided to keep that one too xD
theyre irresistable! so glad i got my own because i got sick of seeing cute jumpers online and not having one lol
I can’t hear “inconceivable” without thinking of _The Princess Bride._
Congratulations, Spore! You did such a great job taking care of your babies while they were in your nursery. Good luck with the show!
Kat the best place to remove slings from a nest is in the bath tub. Most are white and they can't crawl out
Haha you pick them up by the butt. I remember doing this by hand when my spider had babies. There were so many of them! They all eventually got loose in the yard. I found a lot of jumping spider homes all over the place when we moved. I'm so happy they all made it.
I've never been so excited that I live in St. Louis lol!
They are so adorable, they make me want a jumping spider so much ❤️🧡
I love these jumping spiders! They're such cuties!
If only I was closer I'd have jumped at the opportunity to get some of these babies!!! beautiful little ones, jumpers are my fave!! Spoody Mcdood just hit full adulthood and shed his orange (he's a bold regius) I say it all the time but your videos are awesome and super appreciated!!
The pipe cleaner addition is genius as well as being so cute! Have fun at the show!
Massive amounts of Kat content lately. I can't wait to binge on everything I'm behind on.👍
I use pipe cleaners as cat toys. I twist 2 of them together and then wrap them around my finger to make it springy, my cat absolutely LOVES them. They are her favorite toys
Hi kat, I been watching your channel now for over a year now.I really enjoy it alot, I just wanted to say I am very impress on how much you became so into the jumping spiders in the past year with the knowledge that you have learned about them it's just so awesome. Not a lot of people are displaying jumping spiders I believe because they don't live that long maybe? Just an (opinion). I live in Boston but if I did live in St Louis I would definitely come and see you and you're wonderful display
Thank you for everything you have shared it's so cool to know how to take care of them.. thank you so much!!! Awesome video can't wait for the next one 😊🕸️🕷️
8:14 and like every kid ever. Playing with their food.
I'm so close but so far away. It'd be cool to come buy some of your babies and stuff. Good luck! Sounds like it'd going to be fun.
They are so darn adorable!!!!
Omg their little faces! So cute!
Those pipe cleaners are awesome but watch for rusting. It will take a few months but it does happen.
oh good tip thanks!
I've got baby phidippus johnsoni jumpers and boy are they so fun and cute. Well they are actually like 9 months old but as this specific species lives a bit longer than others they grow a little slower too 💕 love the video, wish I lived in the states . Canada 🇨🇦 here and we don't have nearly the selection as you guys do so enjoy the show for me
Honestly I would have a lot living in my house because they are so small I know id lose some. Lol. Also the pink in there with them just makes it ten times cuter.
Best of luck to you on the venue! Love your channel and your content
I'm excited for you to be vending your first show that's so exciting !!!
Awesome, good luck at the show !
Good luck at the show!!
And thank you for helping me get over my fear of spiders, one video at a time....
(Until a giant one crawls out of my bathroom)
I so badly want to come to the expo you’re attending, but I don’t know that I can swing it this time. I hope you are successful and do more!
I have to say I used to hate spiders. But after watching you I have grown to love tarantulas. Now I have 3 of my own.
There’s a reptile show called “show me reptiles” which goes to Illinois several times a year. You’ve probably heard of them.
But I’m from WI and it would be super cool to be able to see you vend there! (They also go to WI and a bunch of other states)
Ah yes Jumping Spiders❤👍🕷
So stinking cute!
I’m waiting until spring to have my first jumping spider shipped to me, can’t wait!
I thought the close ups of em eating were crickets lolol but the shot was just that good that the flies looks enormous ;D i wish you luck on your first time selling at an expo!
When I'm tired at work tomorrow I'll be blaming tarantula kat 🤣👍🇬🇧
YAS I’ve been waiting for this video 🎉❤🕸️
DANG ur FAST
What cute babies! And already mighty hunters. For me, tarantulas are impressive but jumping spiders are endlessly fascinating and full of surprises. I’ve always loved them, even before the Lucas the Spider phenomenon.
Heart shape the pipe cleaners!! ❤❤soooo cute.
You're face on my New Uploads gave me a little extra joy today. Love you Kat! You've helped me soo much with my arachnophobia
They are adorable.
Those are so cute and I love the way how u put all that effort in for us that deserves a round of a Palouse
Thank you for educating me. I just found a gravid jumper, and I think I’m gonna go for it, keeping its babies.
They're so adorable. The clip of the one eating has the cutest little face. I have one and I adore it
Good luck at the show, Kat!
I found one this size yesterday on an apple and he's got a lil home now!
What cute lil babies luv the vid ...
Great video
Love their eyes, sooo cute.
Cool babies they are cute good luck at you're show
Good luck at the show! When are the plushies being shipped?? Can't wait!!!! :)
The web they drag behind them for safety, I call a Jumper cable!
Love your videos. Jumping spiders are my favorite. I have a female (just laid an egg sac, so excited!) and male. Your babies look awesome!
Great video Kat, as always 🤗
So many jumping baby spiders, they are so cute 😍🥰 Mama Spore is too beautiful too 💝 Love her name ❤️
I so but SO wish I could come see you at your table at the St Louis Reptile Show ! It makes me sad. 🥺
I hope to be able to come one day ! 🙏🖤
i am literally going to drive from illinois to st.louis that day just so i can see you
Adorable.
They're sooo delightful!!!🕷♥️♥️♥️🕷⭐⭐⭐🕷
Nom nom nom! Super cute!!
I would love one but sadly, the drive and I just don't think I have what it takes to care for such a small spider.
Tiny baby spider 🕷
Live near Joplin Metro area, so upset I can't make it to the St. Louis con! Would love to have some Spore babies. Someday!
Super Cute Creatures
They are so stinking cute! I have couple ideas on feeders, take it or leave it, I know you’re a pro! I believe the wingless melanogaster fruit flies are smaller than the ones you are using which look like the hydei, also what about springtails? I’ve seen them used as feeders for tiny froglets!
Love those cute little jumping spiders.
Her Little babies are cute and also love your videos😊
Thank you! They sure are 🥹
Urmegurd! They are soooo cuteeee. I wish I lived closer, I would totally get a few! And what really sucks is out here where I live, there are no pet stores of any type. Not unless I want to drive north to Des Moines. And with no driver's license? Lol not taking that much of a chance. Absolutely love your content, Kat!! My favorite channel by far xD
Will you be at the reptile show October 14 -15 in Little Rock? We would love to meet you in person and ask 1000 questions. You were my inspiration to take on my first jumper, and now I have about over 100 spiders now with a t seladonia and 2 mystery turantulas set to arrive Monday!!
Thank you so much. You gave me something to invest myself and my time into again! Hope to meet you guys one day.😊
24 comment awesome video today kat I always enjoy your amazing videos and I love your baby jumping spiders and happy Wednesday 💯💪👍👍💪
yay!!!!
Excellent macro whatever recording device you're using.
I wish I lived close. You and your family should visit East Tennessee. I’m right outside a big tourist area, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Loved this video. The last baby jumping around with it’s food...so cute.
omg the cutest lil bebbes!
I wish I didn’t live so far away! I’d be there to grab one in a heartbeat!!
Oh my god!!!!! How cute are those little babies 😍😍😍 watching the tiny one eating whilst waving was adorable, and the pipe cleaner springs are definitely a great idea for them. The little eyes with the camera light, makes them look even cuter 😍 😍🥰 I can't wait for summer, we have tons of spiders in my garden, including nursery spiders, and I love watching the mothers with their eggs and little babies everyday. We also have small jet black ground spiders that scurry everywhere, I'm yet to identify them, they look like baby T's but I'm in the UK so that would be huge NO lol
Good luck with the show too
Amazing!!
When a tiny species has babies, the babies are tougher to raise, very very difficult to separate. One really needs a contrasting background for sure. I didn't use one, and had a heck of a time.
Also, Thank God for springtails. A couple of my Marpissa Formosa babies were in a separate enclosure together. I watched one tackle and eat a wingless fruit fly. So, I assumed they would continue eating those. I did not have springtails in that enclosure, I just kept trying the flies for those two, because I watched one eat a wingless fruit fly. Those babies died.
Now I only have 1 living baby, who happened to have springtails in it's enclosure. It is past first molt, and STILL a tad bit smaller than a wingless fruit fly.
Then there's the Phidippus Putnami babies. They are nowhere near as big as a P. Audax, not even close, but, those babies were at least the size of a wingless fruit fly, eating a lot of fruit flies. None have died...
I'm assuming the springtails are what saved my one Marpissa Formosa. If it doesn't make it to adult size, I'm probably not going to try raising more. If it does, I'm really looking forward to Spring season ...
I can’t wait to actually meet you in person ! I was already going to be attending but I was so ecstatic when I saw that you were going to be a guest for the EXPO. I can’t wait to get some lil Bbs from you 😍
How are your bbs? Mine didn’t make it. I did everything right :(
@@shelbys422 I’m so sorry for the late response I just saw !
I bought 2 and my friend bought 2 but ended up gifting me the 2.
All 4 are alive and well still.
Sorry yours didn’t make it :(
Mom is beautiful 😊
Hello little ones, welcome to the world !!
They're so darn cute 🕸️🕷️
Awww this sucks that I’m a gazillion miles away 😢 good luck suh ❤
From a distance they kind of look like a tick
I’ve never been one to just kill spiders, because of all the good they do, but I’ve never really thought much of them either. BECAUSE OF U, I now find myself going out of my way to make sure the outdoors spiders r ok and safe!! I’m even considering a jumping fluff ball! I’m 49 yrs old, so u can teach an old dog new tricks! 😊ty so much for wonderful insight and inspiration! Kelley from North Carolina! Oh, what type jumping spider wud b good for a beginner???
I will be at the doors waiting to get one! 🕷️
Babies!!!!!❤🕷🕸🕷🕸
Im a 🆕 🕷️🕸️ captain, this a very informative video 💎
The expo is on my b-day 😄
Hi tarantula Kat
I have had other reptiles in the past and recently my daughter and I have been watching your videos together and she has been asking for a tarantula. We always end up watching your videos when doing our research. Funny enough the last reptile show I went to was the last stl reptile show they had at the double tree. You are right it is a very nice small show. I enjoyed it a lot last time and ended up leaving with a tokay gecko. If I can work out the details I may try to bring my daughter there and see if she recognizes you haha. Shes 5. Who knows maybe we’ll leave with her tarantula 😅
So cute! Those fruit flies are almost bigger than they are. Are you planning on breeding the johnsonii?
i wish i could get a bold jumper. Only jumpers we have here are the black and tan ones, much smaller. Most places don't ship to Canada though :/
I got 2 babies today in STL!!! 🕷️🎀
❤
I want a jumper!! Do you have baby velvets as well? And what tarantula babies do you have.. I want them from you because you are my favorite an have been a fan for years!! 🤘😘🤘💙🕷🕸
I'd love to be able to go and meet you I'm in Illinois but don't think I'll be able to this time around🕷
Do we know if this show will also be on the 4th?
You still have jumping spider baby's would love one
Will you be at the st. Louis reptile show March 5th??
Yes I will be vending!
Would it be better to pre poke the wholes in the lids? Or it doesn't faze the spider?
Should I separate each one as soon as they start to go out of the web clutch and wandering in the enclosure?
I have a jumping spiders it's a baby rn but her name is Jupiter btw
We get one expo a year in Scotland 😭you and tarantula cribs need to do a Scottish expo 😂
Hahaha maybe someday ✈️
Now that would be epic 😂 in exchange we offer rain, bagpipes and banter!
I want one
No, I missed it can you do it again.
Its my first spiders whats a good sprider to start with
Curious question: I'm still a little new-ish to your channel, and I've seen several videos of baby wrangling lol, and I know you mentioned this is your first time vending them at an expo, just wondering what you generally do with all the babies that you don't intend to keep? Have you ever shipped/sold any online? I would be interested in getting a little jumper baby in the future, but I'm nowhere near your area and wouldn't be able to purchase one in person.
I just purchased an phidippus aureus 2i or 3i...do I keep it with no substrate with a moist paper towel ball...any info would be greatly appreciated since I've never had a jumping spider...thanks
