People really are ignorant and don't read about history. We were taught about northeast India thoroughly in our history books in Odisha. With the adoption of internet, you can find any information you need all at your disposal. Most of these people never went to northeast and have no idea regarding the people or their culture, they live in their own isolated communities in the state. Prejudice goes a long way

Although the documentary on Manipuri was well-made, it may have missed some of the famous places. Nevertheless, I feel grateful to have seen it. Unfortunately, in the 21st century, some North Indians remain unaware of Manipur and its place within India. While our facial features and cuisine differ from theirs, we share a common bond through our adherence to the Hindu religion and our love for India. One of the biggest challenges for Manipur is our distance from the national capital. As Manipuris, we must take responsibility for not promoting our cultural heritage enough around the world. It is our mistake, but we can work to rectify it.
There should b Manipuri cultural shows in capital of every Indian state...

I guess you should also visit Khongjom war memorial complex because in that particular place, the last battle of independence was fought there between the Manipuri soldiers and the British army and it's one of the most important places in Manipur.

@@masteroogway9281yeah I belong to "Meitei-Pangal" Community of Manipur. And yeah we are muslims but we are ethnic community of Manipur. Our forefathers were bengalis but our maternal side were meitei hence we adopted meitei culture keeping our religion still alive. We have sure names just like meitei which the then King of Manipur gave us. And hence we follow our maternal side.
