Singabalapha: one year occupying

Singabalapha, the community occupying a section of Main Road in Observatory, Cape Town, commemorates its one year living on the street in a tented community. Singabalapha leader Barbara Vuza reflects on the occupation, their recent court victory against the City of Cape Town and what it's like being a black person in an racist city.
