I'm one of those that respects our military veterans and active service members. Before the pandemic I would literally walk up to them shake their hands and thank them for their service in active uniform or with a veteran's cap. One time in a McDonald's I walked up to a man with a world war II veteran hat on. And I said thank for everything you did. He turned to me a tear went down his eye and said I thought everyone forgot it. Some of us will never forget the sacrifices you got turns mate for us no matter which war conflict you served in. One of my best friends is a military vet he was injured in 2002 in Volusia almost lost his arm. He was the only one out of his home he has severe PTSD and survivors guilt. And the traumatic brain injury. I make sure he knows every time we talk that I am so proud of what he did for us. My five children will always know that Uncle Billy serves their country proudly.

One dsy my dad comes home from work and says he thinks he'd seen a car I'd like behind a garage in Tampa and I should look at it. Ok dad, what ever. Oh the porch sat there a much older lady. My dad asked if the car was for sale and she said yes but that it was rather expensive and asked me if I could afford the $75.00 she was asking. I said yes ma'am. When I looked at the tarp covering the big beast of a car. I started to druel, cry, and thought NO WAY. Under the tarp was a 1967 pontiac gto. MY CAR. The old lady would NOT tell me who it had belonged to just that it was time to sell it. I can only imagine.

Jesus will soon resurrect your bro-in-law William McDonald, right after Jesus brings Armageddon & restores his God's Kingdom Govt on this earth. Jesus would have removed Satan, the demons & the wicked people. "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment." (John 11: 28, 29)
Memorial tombs exist only on earth, so this is an earthly resurrection. See also John 11:23-27 this scripture proves that when Jesus returns, those living & doing God's will, will never die at all. (1Tim 2:3-5; John 3:16; John 17:3; Psalms 37:29)

This song is so touching. One of my uncles was KIA in Vietnam. I still remember I put a flower wreath on his neck when he and his White Horse Division were parading through the main street of Seoul before they were leaving for Vietnam. He never made it back. His last poistion as a ROK army captain was a company commander. A hand grenade exploded near him. He and one of the platoon leaders (first lieutant) in his company were killed. My aunt showed me something she received. One of them was his name tag with his blood.on it. I served two years in ROKA as mandatory requirement, but never in combat. I feel hmbled whenever I hear this song.

He was serving on your destroyer" FRANK E EVANS "
Tony was transferred to the Nimitz 3 days before the
EVANS was sunk. I met my old Navy mate when he and his Wife moved to the Bay from Dromoine in Sydney
By then he was an older man and every year Tony would Don his suit and go and place a Reef on our local memorial At Nelson Bay Port Stephens NSW ON EAST Coast Australia As I got to know him ( toward the end of his life over time I told him I considered him like a second Dad.). He told me Over the years that he was supposed to only be stationed on NIMITZ FOR A FEW DAYS SO HE left his Navy kit OF FRANK E EVANS And That as a young Navy recruit he had got into photography . So Sadly when FRANK E EVANS Webt down all his gear went down with her. AND a very large number of photo's too. HE had an incredible Eye for detail. In his elder years and could do most manual job's He could put his hand to a very professional job spray painting cars . Or a reasonable job laying Bricks
Some of the paintings he did were truly magnificent and his mechanical.prowesd was excellent too. constructing most complicated projects was not an issue for him
    We lost my old
Cobber in March 2019 so after .accompanying him on his yearly pilgrimage for years and Msrching as a civvy along side him and my other mate on ANZAC DAY I went in to the Flirest's at Salamander Bay ( which is a suburb of the bigger Town ship of Nelson Bay.) and got a reef and did what my old
Cobber had done as long as I knew him probably 1993 - 2019. ( 26 years I seen him go to the local florest and place a reef to the Crew of
U,S,S, FRANK E EVANS on that cenotaph so Biw untill I can no longer do it the button is in my hand
    THE Anniversary is 3rd June.
In 2019 on 6/3/2019 There was a reef on that memorial
It read in . MEMORY OF THE CREW OF U,S,S, FRANK E EVANS and to John Humphrey Rivette R,A,N
    SUNK SOUTH CHINA SEA
6/3/ 1965 MAY THEY REST IN PEACE. Now I make this pledge while ever I am able
There will ( as long as I'm not locked down ) be a reef on that memorial each year to honour that brave crew and Now my Old mate J,H,Rivette
R,A,N, MAY THEY REST IN PEACE. I'm not ex Navy I never served because if you have read my posts you will know I have Given Thanks to Your Country m en and mine for their service because I couldn,t serve I have been Partly sighted since birth
It is an honour therefore to perform a small duty in honour of that crew and my friend and truely pay respect to all those who serve and sadly Don,t come home.thank you for your service regards.
