You can tell it was real by his complete lack of a reaction. That's how i react when i pull gold out of the ground too... No, it doesn't matter how much you've found, even a tiny gold ring is extremely exciting. you say "hell yeah" or "thats dope" stuff like that. this is totally staged.
Of course he isn’t finding all this stuff. It’s probably all fake. What sucks though is he is hurting the hobby. Because finding that type of stuff also isn’t nearly as impossible as one is lead to believe. There are hundreds of millions still under ground in the United States.

With the exception of myself all of our other bros laughed at him. Well it took about twenty years but, last year he went to South Padre Island and fooled around there and you talk about paydirt, he found a Spanish Piece of eight. That's right solid silver with eight sides like a stop sign dated 1641. It's worth about $23,000 at auction. Who's laughing now?
