Features Storm Alert music due to the approach of Tropical Storm Beryl on the Gulf Coast. It could re-intensify into a hurricane before landfall on Texas.
On June 30, Beryl made history when it became a category 4 hurricane, making it the earliest category 4 hurricane on record, then July 1, Beryl became a category 5 hurricane, making it the earliest category 5 hurricane on record, beating Hurricane Emily on July 16, 2005.
