Jay helped with our documentary about electric cars. His extensive collection of vehicles and amazing knowledge were invaluable. You could spend several months just looking at cool stuff in his garage. I called Jay when I bought my first Shelby GT500...he was genuinely excited about the car....despite already having half a dozen of of his own. A totally awesome guy.

Nah those AWD charger interceptors aren't much on burnouts, they grip hard right off the bat and launch you down the road at mach 5
@@jakeedgell591 Absolutely. Have to turn off the "nanny assist" buttton (traction control) and certainly can't have AWD for the burnouts. Interestingly for years now the ONLY people who get our Hemi AWD cars are police. We don't build AWD Hemi's for customers anymore

Hellcats began production prior to the Fiat-Chrysler merger. The Challenger/Charger models were designed while Dodge was a DaimlerChrysler brand, while the Hellcat versions were designed under Chrysler Group LLC.
Radford Tataryn Keyword being “now” (under Fiat management). The Charger in this video is a pre-facelift model, 2014 or older. Nothing to do with Fiat. The Hellcats are 2015 model year examples (noted in this video), so unless they were late 2015 models (which is possible of course), they too would have nothing to do with Fiat.

This was hilarious and classic best thing ive seen all week
When I was a kid I got to meet Tim, and I met Carol Shelby and Larry Shinoda. I'm only 38 but I got to meet some of these great men. All of them including Jay Leno helped cultivate my love for cars. No matter what the future hold diesel and gas powered cars will always be in my blood and no electric car will ever replace that love. I'm truly blessed to have met all the greats that I've met, and I'm am so glad to have known so many good guys. All good men and those who've passed on I will always miss. They're legacy lives on through the stories people like me tell. I talk to my children and tell them of these men I've met, and tell them of these experiences. I take them to car shows and watch as their eyes light up with love and wonder of these machines.
I'm now a semi truck driver and becoming an owner more with each passing day. My love has now also extended to these older trucks, falling in love with what is not going to last. Wishing I could have been around for the golden years of it all. One generation to late I always say, but my love for these things will never die. I hand wax cars I've owned that I loved and that will never change. I miss so many good things from when I was younger. I'm so grateful they were a part of my story.
