- I am EXTREMELY biased when it comes to Design Essentials just because their products have really worked wonders for my hair. But THIS collection right here has changed the game for me and my hair. I wanted to keep it to myself, but I knew that wasn’t right given how much I loved it. So watch as I go through my wash day with unusual ease using the full Design Essentials African Chebe collection. I highly recommended trying at least one product that peaks your interest after watching. I think its worth it!

It’s so satisfying watching someone wash their hair thoroughly. Giving the scalp a good massage. Your hair drank the products up. I really want this collection but it’s not available in the UK yet. I’ll be snapping it up as soon as we get it. I’ve always loved Design Essentials brand Just great products for type 3 & 4 hair

Hi Rissa, thanks for the great review. I subscribed because your hair looks great! Could you please share if your hair is low, medium, or high porosity and the density of your gorgeous strands? I was about to buy this line until I visited the DE website and saw that it is not recommended for fine hair. I am worried it would weigh down my hair low porosity/fine strands. Thanks!

Thank you! And it really depends on how much hold you prefer to rock with your hair. It got a little frizzy around day 5-7. I wash my hair every 7 days, and I was fine with how my hair was until then. But if extra defined hair is a priority, I’d say 5 days.
Where can I get all these products?
I gotta try this line. I've been hearing so much about this Chebe product, but I've been a little hesitant. I guess now that I see someone using it, I could give it a shot. Her curls are gorgeous.
My suggestion would be to try one or two products in the line since you’re a little hesitant. See how you like those, and get more as you feel 👌🏽
What is your porosity… sorry if you have been asked that before.
I normally use the cream gel for my wash and gos, but it takes so long to dry. I bought this moose, thinking I could do a moose only wash and go. I’m half way through and I don’t it’s going to work out. I stopped to find some videos 😂
Yeah the mousse is good, but I’m right there with ya, I can’t quite use it by itself. Try diffusing instead of air drying! I want to make a video soon about what I’ve found with misconceptions about air drying vs. diffusing
@@RissaRox I usually sit under my hooded dryer for awhile. Doing that with the cream gel takes forever tho
I think you used too many products… over saturation? Unless you have a dry scalp 🤔? You do have very thick hair so maybe for you this many products work? Beautiful results. ❤❤❤
I used a leave-in, a crème, and a mouse for styling. For me this combo works great, and leaves a light hold. But for others it may be heavier depending on your hair. Thanks 😊
