My personal Top 5 Things to do in Belize | What to do in Belize
Belize is a gorgeous country nestled on the Caribbean coast under the Riviera Maya of Mexico and the northern states of Guatemala. Being in Latin America, Belize is the odd one out. The primary language here is English and the lifestyle in Belize is very reggae, very Caribbean and very relaxed, with a lot of things to do. So, the question is, you are visiting Belize, what to do in Belize when you are there? Luckily for you, no matter what you are into, you will find many things to do in Belize, and I have narrowed it down to my personal Top 5 Things to do in Belize. If you believe I missed a few things to do in Belize then please write them in the comments.
Top things to do in Belize.
Visit San Ignacio, Belize. Great little town up in the hills with ruins and other extreme things to do. Visit the Belize Cayes of Ambergris and Caulker and enjoy the slow way of life. See some of the Mayan Ruins in Belize and definitely either go snorkeling or diving off the Belizean Coast!
There are lot of other things to do in Belize, other than listed so do your research but I tried to touch on a few different things that will appeal to the traveller going through Belize, and the vacationers relaxing in Belize.

As you should be Frank! I am fortunate enough to have been to Belize twice, and each time I was welcomed with open arms from the people and the country is so laid back and stunning. It is so different than all the Latin countries and should be proud of that. From Corozal, to San Ignacio, to Caye Caulker down to the south, its such a great place.

Caye Caulker I prefer over the larger Ambergris because it is too crowded. Supposedly something like 18,000 people live on Ambergris, not including the tourist .

Yeah Eric! Belize is awesome. Love the people there too. So laid back. Belikin, terrific beer. They got the best fried chicken ever there, Steve can attest to that! Caye Caulker is a MUST VISIT in Belize. So awesome and the Mayan Temples are amazing and very beautiful. Something you would not expect in Belize. Lot of things to do!

Hey sorry, for some reason CZcams is not notifying me about comment replies. It totally depends what you want. Beach, adventure etc. I would travel up and down but if you want beaches, up in the Cayes are the best.
I just got back from there. It depends on what you want n where you’re going. If you want to be surrounded by jungle near San Ignacio, stay at Lower Dover in Unitedville. If you go to Caye caulker, Bella’s House is absolutely where u want to stay at.
what about cost? is it expensive to do activities? is it safe to visit and drive?
What activities are you planning to do? It varies but generally speaking Belize is more expensive that most of Central America (minus Costa Rica) but cheaper than North America is regards to most things. Belize is safe to drive as there is zero traffic because the 'highways' across the country are basically single lane roads but you can be stopped by police (happened to me on my first day in Belize and the video is on my channel) but its generally safe.
Yeah big cities are usually the biggest risk in any country Belize included. Stay to the tourist areas and you will be fine travelling through Belize.

The work really depends on what u morely intrested in but since ur an out sider it would be so much easier for u to get a job

does belize like americans and is it safe
In general, I think they appreciate the money Americans bring to Belize, so just be respectful and you won't have problems. The reputation of Americans world wide is not good, so try and change it! :)
