I am convinced that when you start playing borderlands you die to enemies but not the map and when you have playd borderlands for a long time, you dont die to enemies but the map

Hate the accuracy of that statement. I've played the first game the most, and haven't played 3. Yet it still holds true, the better you get at the game itself, the more you notice how things like map geometry and the occasional outright bugs are leading causes of death.
You know I expected like you slaughtering everything but seeing this…it doesn’t matter how many hours you put into BL3 this is gonna be your enemy everytime

I really hope bd4, whenever it's made had the option to go third person. All those customization options kinda go to waste since you don't really get to see your character in action.
I hope there's an option to switch from First Person to Third Person and viceversa. It gives the game a different feeling

One time I initiated ground slam and missed the friggin platform right before Anathema fight lmao
I've slammed while going to Anathema once. When I died with the edge of the platform 5 inches in front of me, I closed the game and went back to BL2

I'm surprised that BL3 or most FPS type games don't have 3rd person as an option. You either play a game that's already 3rd person or if you're PC. Just download a mod

Borderlands 3 is a very good game in terms of gameplay, but the plot is much worse.
The change of screenwriter is very noticeable

First of all: I always landed on the flying rock. BUT the fun began at the door with the 3 crystals. I was FL4K and played with a friend and the fun Part was: While like 100 enemies downed us my friend gone oked but my good boy... my cute Skagfriend I really love.... he ressed me like sooooooooooooo many times that I soloed the enemiewaves and entered the room but in there I got ressed by my doggo so many times that the timer where I can get ressed was so short that I almost instantly died like 1 or 2 enemies before getting through this room. I love the Skags

I used to be obsessed with Borderlands, I loved 1 and 2, even Pre Sequel but for some reason I didn't love 3. I felt it was very bland a lot of the time.. I know it wasn't the same writers. Sometimes theres too much of a good thing and BL3 is an example of that.
Yeah Borderlands 3 streched a plot that was thin to begin with and made characters from Borderlands 2 more boring, only planet I had consistent fun was Jakobs one

bl3 Was the best IMO
The story made me cringe into oblivion and there's no way I could play it
I made the mistake of looking up guides for borderlands 3. What the best guns, builds, farming methods etc were. By the time my buddy and I beat the game. We spent maybe 5 days max playing end-game. Then it became this pointless easy grind; and we weren't even using DLC packs weapons. Mayhem 10 felt like a joke; and the few moments something seemed moderately difficult. It was just a matter of "Hit him for life; or die if you don't". -- and well. Its pretty damn easy to hit stuff in this game.
Wish we went into it a little more blind. Definitely cucked ourselves out of an extra 30-60 hours of gameplay.

Damn! I thought I played a lot. I've been playing since launch, but only have a little over 1,000 hours played. Still keep going back to it though. It's the best in the franchise! BL2 was my favorite before all of the DLC and expansions, hot fixes etc. for BL3 came out. Tried to go back to BL2 recently and as soon as I tried to slide and just crouched, I said nope. 😂

This takedown - is a pure cancer of gamedesign. I guess, they didnt test this at all.
Yeah, the lack of checkpoints is a deal breaker. I fell in a pit while fighting the mid-boss, saw that I respawned at the beginning, and was like "Okay, I'm done here."
I wouldn't go so far as to call it cancer. The boss fights are amazing, the enviroments great to look at, and the story is interesting. What sucks is how long it is, how tedious the crystal mini games can be, and after doing all that you get like 2 legendaries and a bunch of junk. When it works it's great but not worth the time to do because legendary drops are utter shit.
I 100% agree with Nathan here. I like this takedown but it's not something I'd regularly play since it feels tedious to me

I don't care what anyone says, Borderlands 3 is hands down my favorite Borderlands game. Borderlands 2 is right behind it, but 3 is just too good. I wish they released a Tiny Tina type DLC, but still.

The thing i feel about Borderlands 3 is that it is the best in every department but the story. I love the gunplay, the skills, the playable characters, the level design (cept for Athenas). Just playing through that story is just a bloody drag with a bunch of (at launch unskippable) cutscenes where the vault hunters are just touching their loot off to the side while people are dying.
You may not be able to replace or do better than Handsome Jack, but I learned to love (to hate) the twins. Made then a very memorable and enjoyable main antagonist. And as for the rest of the game and core gameplay - they just expanded and improved everything that already existed. BL3 is such an incredible game.
@@THEironmidget1 I think the big thing people miss, is that they purposely developed the twins to be cringe, over the top and to be almost "streamers" they were made to mirror today's streamer society. That's the one thing that made me tolerate the twins. When I realized they were supposed to be like that, that and they were definitely more cruel then Jack. I loved Jack more as a villain I can't deny it. But looking at BL3 as a whole, I just prefer it over 2. 2 will always have a soft spot on my heart, but BL3 just captivated me more.
