Babe wake up Simply Aviation posted a new brutally honest episode!!
😂😂
Bro what..
💀
😂
Bold of you to say I have a "babe" :(
How do you always pronounce the name of foreign airports so accurately and correctly? 😂
Yep esp since the full form of CSMIA is quite a mouthful even for us here in India
Practise😂
It's an AI talking 😂
He’s done a phenomenal job for a non native speaker, but it still sounds funny when he says CSMIA 😂
Tatara. No. Benzin. Hhhhhhhhhh. Pilot. Not. Drajver
At night, the international departures are packed because airlines want to land in US and Europe in the mornings as soon as their airports open. Domestic departures is active at nights because early morning flights are way cheaper and very convenient if you want to maximise your time during the day in both the cities.
I flew on the Etihad a380 a few years ago and I’m flying on it again in December. I am well excited to see if anything has changed
We’ve flown mostly on EY 151 and 150 on A6-XWB to ORD from AUH quite frequently on Business Class. Phenomenal but still miss their 777
"Instead of complaining about everything just for views". Honestly it's so refreshing. I really don't like Josh, Sam Chui and Dan.
Especial non-stop dan, dude complains about literally everything when in reality it's really nothing to complain over. And then proceeds to upload his 50th Qatar airways video hyping them
Agreed!!
Not familiar with Dan but Sam Chui is a shill for the airlines and Josh Cahill always rubbed me the wrong way with his constant complaining and overall snobbery.
Dan is so annoying oh my godddd
I like Simply Aviation videos. They are more relevant to an average Joe flyer like me, unlike the overly slick advertisements that Sam Chui produces.
He’s a shill for the airlines and his experience is carefully curated by the PR departments of the airlines. When they know you’re coming it’s impossible to get a realistic experience and an honest review.
Etihad has always tried to copy the business model that made Emirates become what it is today. Emirates had the advantage of Dubai being both a tourist destination and a central transfer hub. And they heavily leaned into that branding. By comparison, Abu Dhabi has the oil and its the capital of the country. But they haven’t sold the city to the world as a destination like Dubai has done. That, combined with the risky investments in two carriers that ended up closing down in Air Berlin and Alitalia, Etihad’s real problem is poor management and investments. Which when combined with the lack of an image for its destination city doesn’t produce many passengers for an airline trying to sell itself as upscale but cost cutting everywhere it can.
Abu Dhabi will never be a destination city like Dubai is. Dubai has lax rules compared to the rest of the gulf region. Arabs themselves flock to Dubai on weekends to party.
Etihad tried to copy Emirates' business model, they tried to be a global airline, and then they had to downsize to what they are.
Emirates business class s*ck. 2 3 2 is pretty outdated for their 777's
@@heidirabenau511Etihad tried to copy Emirates and they instead ended copying Swissair, as if Hogan got taught by Bruggisser, McKinsey and Co. and the rest of the Swissair management. Hogan used to sell Yugoslav Airlines tickets in Melbourne(or Sidney, I can’t recall where he worked) in the 80s.
Waking up to a Brutally Honest episode… Always a great way to start the day :D
im in love with you

"In which we try to pack as much information as possible instead of complaining about everything for views"
👏👏👏
That was a subtle dig at Josh Cahill😂
This is perfect timing as I'm flying with Etihad for the first time in 2 weeks on my birthday, London Heathrow to Bangkok via Abu Dhabi, so this gives me an idea of what to expect from them.
Depends on the aircraft so if you can always try to get the best ones
You ll get 380 on LHR route
I had a horrible flight on Etihad back in 2016, this makes me want to MAAYBEE try them again
The amount of research they done to make this video is truly appreciable
My experience with Etihad was fantastic I loved it the food was amazing I would definitely fly with Etihad again
Excellent video…..as usual!
What A Beauty The A 350 Air Craft Are.I Experience The A350-1000 In Business Was Nothing To Write Home About.Great Trip Report
"complaining about every single thing for the views" sent me down the emergency chute laughing 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Using Qatar this winter for the first time. Used Emirates last year long haul from Heathrow to Bangladesh via Dubai and loved them even though I usually fly direct with Biman who are also great. But I will defo see if I can fly with Etihad next time, they look great.
A new terminal has been put at Tenerife South for all UK, Ireland flights and even some flights with United to EWR and JFK. It’s connected to the current terminal as well.
I wouldn't say new
Etihad is slowly getting better!
i flew etihad liike three times and it wasnt bad it was before covid and the food and ife was great but i havent experienced after covid etihad flights thanks for sharing
Great review. I'm a fan of Etihad. I hope it resumes flying to my home city of Perth, Australia, in the not-too-distant future, maybe after the new terminal at Abu Dhabi has been opened.
I love this channel… simply loved the level of detail added is truly mesmerising. Keep up the great job cheers
That in flight entertainment system is impressive. It’s the best one I’ve ever seen I believe.
I love how you can pair your own Bluetooth headphones to it and you can sync it up with other people
thanks for a video from Mumbai
I have flown on EY203 route with A350 and the new Business Class cabins are impressive
Great flight. And yeah finally great improvement from Etihad Airways.
Interesting. I just flew from Abu Dhabi to New York JFK on Eithad's 787-9.
I went on This plane today your going on it on the way back now I’m in Mumbai right niw
Simply Aviation, I absolutely love your videos. Especially because you DO provide useful information instead of complaining about everything! Some channels that I do still subscribe to only complain about the tiniest things…. On First Class and Business, as if the majority of us fly on them.
Finnaly Etihad 😍
i flew ethiad this summer, and was fairly impressed with the airlines! I still think Emirates could be a tidy bit better, but it is definatley a competetor!
The reason why EY operates at 4 am in India is for connections to EU and USA. Especially the CBP/Immi in AUH dont operate after 11am.
Surprised Etihad don’t fly these on routes to Australia and not on short 2 hour flights to India! Surprising
Likely need the capacity for India.
Would be nice if they flew to Australia with these A350s, if so I would more likely consider them
Good seats good plane good reviews as always❤❤❤
"instead of complaining about everything for the sake of views" I LOVE that!! Just when I thought simply Aviation couldn't get any better you guys are now "throwing shade" & I'm loving it! That's one of the reasons I love your Channel compared to other reviewers who I shall not name.
On a different note I want to thank David for doing such a great job the brutally honest videos I've been enjoying the one's has been posting all summer they keep getting better and better. There was an award for best Aviation reviewer in 2023 I think David deserves it! No nonsense, no drama, polite curious about different cultures without judgement..and..my favourite part: all those tidbits & background trivia about the Airlines and airports being reviewed. The certainly sets you apart from the "competition" (which isn't even all that competitive)✌️
I truly appreciate that you focus of Economy class that most people would probably fly and would be interested in.
Fantastic video guys!
Alitalia is now ITA Airways
I heard ITA means Italy Temporary Arline 😂
Good👍! I'm very amazing😊, too airplane business skip back! Where security problem? Congratulations Simply Aviation, CZcams 100th Years🎉🏆👏!!! 🎉Congratulations🎉🤝!
You have to make a video about Arajet the new airline Dominican Republic and the Caribbean airline that is growing the most
Awesome 👌
Greetings from Helsinki!
I didn't realize that the New Production Standard A350 was already in service. Internet articles said it wouldn't enter until 2024. Going back to watch your recent Iberia video and cross referencing to fleet data, I can see that the first A350-900 NPS was delivered to Iberia in Sept 2022.
I assume that one or more A350-1000 NPS have been delivered by now, but I can't find that info with a quick search. Does anyone know when and to whom the first -1000 NPS went?
I think Airbus should add something to the full model number to denote NPS vs original A350, such as they have N for neo and X for cabin flex, but I can't see that they have added any designation in this case. Have they?
I have never been on etihad Airways however I remember one of your videos which was the Etihad first class suite, served undercooked meat, and that was pretty outrageous for me.
Etihad is going to start service to my hometown of Boston on March 31, 2024. Unfortunately, they will not be using their A350-1000s, they will be using their Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft with 28 business class seats and 262 economy class seats
Love it!
I like your page better, because you don't fly business class like others. I love Persian gulf airlines.
Best no nonsense Aviation channel
Nice video habibi!😊🇦🇪!Ethihad will use A380 again in few months time
Quite 🥕 0:01
It would be nice if there were reviews dedicated to last row seats on airplanes 😆
this should be a TV series
surprised etihad is using the a350-1000 for a 2hr flight & not the a320
may b bcs of the number of passengers flying between mumbai & abu dhabi is a lot
8:39-9:17 man that ife is so cool👌 & smart
Another great video! I really appreciate your pronunciation of those airports. That is something I cannot do. Thanks!
Man i missed you guys!
beautiful a350-1000 from Etihad Airways
Checking-in for some beret-action.
Good review.
0200 check-in? Cripes, that's a lot of time to kill after being chucked out of the hotel.
Your intros are a particular strength of this channel.
I've never flown on Etihad before I sure hope that they have good food to eat
Next time you can take Azual Brazil airline a350. It is new a350.
I love SA. Who’s with me?
Do you have Brutally Honest video about Vietnam Airlines or any of Vietnam carriers?
A Brutally Honest episode about Vietnam Airlines' A350-900 Economy Class to Sydney will be out soon! :)
Im still waiting the new review of the trip on board the EY A380.
Great Review❤
The first step to bringing them back to greatness is to reinstate the old boarding music!
I'm suprised more middle eatern airlines aren't competing for deals between India at the middle east.
brutally honest qantas when
And it look like a golden airlines because the planes
5:59
Don’t forget Qatar Airways. They have the same seat that is in their Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner!
I totally agree, Etihad a350-100 eco is amazing for its price, but I have to say, the 787 eco is far, far behind.
Hey try transnusa air is good to is like md 80 but is mini version
Came to know about you from @onboardHD. very nice to meet you. you got great channel and the first impression is you are the legend of aviation trips. yet to fully explore your channel
Welcome! :) Videos with red text in the thumbnail are narrated, and videos with blue text are with subtitles. Hope that helps you explore the right type of content for you! :)
Was there sny servre turbulence over tge Bay of bengal
Hi I am from Kerala, India. I flew Emirates, Flydubai, Air India, IndiGo, AirArabia and Air India Express. I've wanted to fly Etihad Airways but the Airport I used to go [Kozhikode Int'l Airport (CCJ)] won't service Etihad Airways.
2:48 DAMN that’s impressive pronunciation!
Prime airlines without personal air vents
Did you say 16 hours with no food?
0:12 whats funny is they sponsor manchester city football club 🤣
5:11 BA do also except being able to feature 4 letters in their reg means they can fit G-XWB_ on all aircraft
Amsterdam to Delhi by klm
Yayyyy another brutally honest
nice
Well done Etihad!!!
It is great to see that Etihad is finally back, it was disheartening to watch as soo many friends and colleagues were sent packing during the airlines financial decent. Hopefully this time around the leader is not an olive oiled tongued Australian CEO with unrestrained access to cash and delusions of grandeur.
Cool 🎉
Very good video
The legroom in economy is not ideal if you are 6ft tall or more. Its extremely narrow and your knees will touch the front seat. Cheaper airlines have better legroom. The flight was great but the legroom was really bad.
Thank you for mentioning Josh Cahil without mentioning Josh Cahil...at the end 😅
I love Singapore Airlines more than Etihad for a350s!
I'm curious, how do you know the brands of seats used by each airline?
He has probably worked within the industry prior to being an influencer. Usually aircraft manufacturers have their own preferred seats suppliers and the aircraft come fully specced and information is public knowledge if you Google it and lastly there are not many manufacturers of aircraft seats
@@maxine6933he mentioned a site a few months back where one can check both the config and seats of certain airlines
Philippine Airlines gonna have a 3-4-3 on Fiesta Class (Economy) layout on their A350-1000😓. Like whaattt!! 🤦🏻♂️
🎉
hi i am just wondering how you can afford so many flights
Hello Simply Aviation
Hi Simply Aviation
I love it
been a while since you posted
Please review kuwait airways.
Negatives and positives should be pointed out.
ETIHAD AIRWAYS
Just one question to @simply aviation. I do not understand why do you release a year old matrial just now? Is it such a huge backlog or what is behind? Please no criticism here, I’m just trying to understand it.
Yep and btw how do I became a member? I’d like to chip some coins to the pot for you to continue the great work you do!!
There are many reasons contributing to this, and it annoys me very much too. The main reasons is that we don't do Simply Aviation full-time as a job, because I believe in making videos that are helpful, and if I started making lots of money with CZcams, I am afraid of falling down the clickbait trap like others. So, we try to re-invest as much as possible into our channel, and that also means I have a separate job and other things to do. So sometimes, certain videos are on our to-do list, but then new videos come in which if they are more important I try to cut as soon as possible (Zipair, Air India, Iberia, among others of our recent videos). That means videos like this one sometimes sit around and never get cut, so it might take a long time. But I try to research all of the information in the video as accurately as possible, and if the product changed significantly between filming and cutting, I sometimes just toss the video completely. Because of this, we have footage for more than 150 videos there were never released, because people would just complain about how old the video is. So plenty of airlines we've never showcased on our channel have actually been filmed but never posted, because we didn't manage to find the time to work on every video (a Brutally Honest episode is around 20 hours of work). Supporting us financially also means we might be able to outsource certain tasks in the future and thus work more efficiently. If you go on our channel, there are different tabs like "HOME", "VIDEOS", and "SHORTS", and there you should also see a tab called "MEMBERSHIP", which is where you can find all of the information you need. Thank you so much for understanding! :)
Hi
Why is there so many brutally honest
I have never experienced such bad lazy and rude crews as at Etihad
