Alright so for this to work Johnny can't be thinking about getting revenge on Larusso or really having that mentality fueling his dojo. This is more so a last ditch effort at trying to make a living while also going back to his natural roots. And so because of this a strip mall Karate school is made in Reseda but instead of being named Cobra Kai, it's Eagle Fang. Johnny also remembers the old lessons and promises to never use no mercy, rather sometimes it's ok to show mercy and have honor but still keeping the cool factor in check. How will this play out for the rest of the season? Will Daniel and Johnny still be enemies? Find out now.

Y'know i used to think eagle fang was a pretty bad name, but the more it gets used, the more it actually sounds better. And now i actually think about it, its a pretty good name for Johnny's dojo (I mean it doesn't hold a candle to cobra kai but come on thats already like the most badass dojo name)

Another way he could've been not nerfed is if for some reason he was able to undergo a Miraculous recovery and be back on his feet by the Dee Snyder concert. At that point the only real changes would be Johnny going to the meeting WITH Miguel, then in the final fight of S3 Miguel would thrash everyone on Cobra Kai's side until we get to him either facing Hawk or seeing the Binary Brothers Beatdown.
What if Johnny didn't leave to see his friends in season 2
Let me see? Ok my first guess is that it’s most likely that Kreese would have left for good and the entirety of season three would not have a reason to happen. My second guess is that the road trip would still happen but most likely no bar fight and obviously no Johnny. But that’s my opinion?
If Johnny had called his dojo ANYTHING but "Cobra Kai", a lot of the trouble could have been avoided.
I wondered just about the same thing. What if Johnny like train under a different instructor, under a different style inbetween Karate Kid up to Cobra Kai, opens up a dojo called Eagle Fang (or maybe some different style), Daniel wouldn't bother Johnny by raising the rent causing all the other small business near it to suffer. Daniel and Johnny would slowly bury their old hatreds towards each other. John Kreese wouldn't come back, he would still fake his death. The course of History would be altered.
I know I'm late to the party but you missed an important detail. Daniel would have seen Miguel at the Hollyween dance wearing the skull costume. Bringing back Cobra Kai memories. Then he would have ran into Johnny Lawrence putting up Eagle Fang Karate flyers all around school. Whether or not Daniel ends up putting the same negative connotations that he had with Cobra Kai onto Eagle Fang is hard to say. He could warn his daughter to stay away from Eagle Fang students because they're trained by someone who was trained in Cobra Kai or by Kreese. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, one bad apple spoiling the bunch, etc. etc. So her relationship with Miguel could still be hindered due to being an Eagle Fang student. Just like in the Canon. It could still follow the same paces. As far as Kreese, he could still return. Not because Cobra Kai won the All Valley but because his top student's school won it. The only difference being that he wouldn't try and steal the school because it's not Cobra Kai. He didn't create nor own Eagle Fang. So he would leave once they had their falling out. But he could pilfer all of Johnny's students and with Terry Silver's backing, open up a new Cobra Kai dojo to compete with Eagle Fang.

I don't know. On the one hand, it might seem a stretch for the skeleton costume alone tipping Daniel off to any kind of connection if he wasn't already obsessing about Johnny and Cobra Kai at that point. It's not like it was something unique and noticeable like his shower costume was. You can find a skeleton costume at any random Halloween store across the country; thousands of people dress as one every year. Then again, we haven't seen Daniel in the years leading up to this one, and he does seem to have trouble letting go of anything associated in any way with what happened with Johnny. Maybe, for all we know, he has this same reaction every year, every time he sees a kid dressed as a skeleton.
I'm picturing it right now, late 90's, early 2000's, answering the door for trick-or-treaters, there's a kid wearing a skeleton costume.... again.... he gets that look on his face....
cobra kai would still have a lifetime ban and with daniel on the council and kresse and silver mentioned by the ban i don't think they would get to compete
@@CalistFitness If you're responding to my post about Kreese opening up a Cobra Kai dojo to compete with Johnny's Eagle Fang dojo, I didn't mean it in the tournament sense. You're right, Cobra Kai would still be banned and it would be up to Kreese to try to sway the board in his favor. I can see him doing it too, especially if the plot called for it. However, what I meant was that they would be two competing dojos. The same way two barber shops or fast food restaurants or two of anything in the same town, would be competing with one another for the same clientele.

Miyagi-do might never have even been a thing. Daniel never lost interest in karate, but he also never showed any interest in starting a dojo and taking on students until decided he wanted to take down Johnny's dojo.

Unless of course he's paying enough attention to notice Johnny's name even when it's under a completely new dojo and that's still enough to bring him back. Not as likely, but not impossible either.

Slight error I noticed. Robby wanted to give his dad a second chance but saw him with Miguel so he walked off. If Johnny started with Eagle Fang, he wouldn’t give Miguel his Cobra Kai Gi therefore Robby would give Johnny a second chance.

Sometimes I wonder things like this:
What if the main rivalry was between Ck and EF, and Johnny and Daniel remained friends after KK1. following this current theory).
So basically Kreese would revive CK, but Johnny would have EF. And then Daniel would have Miyagi Do, but he would never make it public, because of Kreese. So then a fight between EF and CK would break out, but MD would come to EF’s aid, but they are friends. So basically, what if Daniels role were just a tad bit smaller, and more focused on Johnny and Kreese.
Or in easier words. Johnny and Daniel remain friends and Johnny finds his balance with Mr Miyagi, and creates his own life. And then Daniel opens his dojo right after Mr Miyagis death, instead of years later. And this would also follow with Samantha never stopping her training, and she would be the goddess of karate. But Daniel would never make Miyagi Do public, and it would be more of a secret recruitment.
And I could see Sam continuing her friendship with Aisha and eventually moon would’ve slowly disassociate herself from yasmine and would’ve become friends with Sam and Aisha earlier. Maybe Sam would’ve decided to tell Daniel about Miguel earlier and Daniel would’ve approved like in season 3.

I think Once we get to the third season everything started to become clear. Unlike the first two seasons we finally get our first true villain in the series. I love watching Miyagi Fang coming together.

I like the opinions. The only thing I would change is Robby would lose to hawk in the semis because I think Daniel would be too blindsided to see Sam’s boyfriend training with Johnny and to find out he was training Johnnys son that he wouldn’t even stay. Robbie then never is able to focus and loses earlier.

Sorry but Sam was punished for hitting Johnny Car had nothing to do with anything else. So yeah Sam would of still got grounded leading Miguel to get drunk because she couldn't answer her phone there is still a chance she shows up at the party with Robbie since its the only way she can still get out. So yeah Sam and Miguel still have a fight and break up the only difference is Miguel met her parents! Sorry I think Robbie wins not hurt just think he would of won the match if not injured. Which Daniel and Johnny started season 2 would of been at each other throats anyway because of Robbie period being trained secretly by Daniel and Miguel would train harder for rematch in next All valley after again breaking up with Sam over Robbie. Hence everything actually still happens accept Kreese wouldn't of come back but everything else happens including the fair leading to Tory coming into the picture.

So he gets upset like most guys who cant get a hold of there girl friend who has her cell phone with her all day like all girls.
