Hi Ryan. I am the keyboardist/ Recording Engineer/ sound Engineer/ and so on at our church. I was thrown on the s-21 after our sound engineer left so I'm having to learn this board because I have no previous knowledge on it. He had it setup really great. I am however having an issue on getting enough sending levels from some channels. Our board is setup with an online send on each channel. I was using my laptop and Studio one for my DAW along with worshiptech plugins for broadcast. Can I set the board to just send levels to the laptop without returning it to the board? Thanks!
Hey William! Absolutely. Just hook up the laptop to the UB Madi (usb B) port on the back. In the channel overview tab(the signal chain menu) the arrow flowing straight down is the UB Madi. Route everything into the DAW from there. You can return your mix to the console on an input and then send it to video from there.
The way you guy do things is sometimes so unconventional but it sounds so good!
