I only thought there was one until today ...1944 version. BEST book is New Age Tarot by Mr Tarot. 1980s, he explains it all in basic terms. Not by Al / C as he is too abstruse, and too ARCHAIC. There are really good Russian decks too .
OMG so glad to see you back!! I recently bought Thoth, 2 copies actually LOL. The art on the small version was too hard to see so i bought the green box. Planning to spend time studying Thoth this winter

The Tarot of the spirit, I am still getting to know it. The Merlin tarot . The Zillich Tarot, and Thoth MM . I still need to study them more☺💖

hi nina, i'm over-excited, i wanna say a million thingsss!!! so happy to see your face again, and hear your lovely voice! i have a green box thoth that i chopped the borders off, so it's barely larger than a standard size deck, and i LOVE the thin, smooth cardstock so much, that i sometimes pull it out and shuffle for the tactile experience alone - so yes, i get you. i think that one is from us games... i refuse to gather all my thoth decks, 'cause i don't wanna know how many i have, because i don't want any guilt of any sorts to stop me from getting a new one should the urge arise... 🤣🤣🤣

Hi, Nina. 🥰 You inspired me to pick up a USG tarot-size of the Thoth! ❤ Would you be able to share your Thoth collection you have from MakePlayingCards? I was super interested in purchasing a deck from there because I adore borderless-it makes everything pop!, but I had no idea which card stock I would like. I've also been wondering if you have ever worked with "The Witches Tarot" deck (Not to be confused the one by Ellen Dugan and Mark Evans)? It was originally published sometime between 1989~1992 by Llewellyn (back when their cardstock was god-tier), and was created by a woman named Ellen Cannon Reed, who was heavily influenced by the Qabbalah when making the deck. She has two books that are associated with it, too, that she wrote. They're easily accessible second-hand, and my library had a copy of both. :) They're "The Witches Tarot: The Witches Qabala Book 2" (which is also a companion for the deck), and "The Witches Qabala: The Pagan Path and the Tree of Life" (which is book one and goes over the tree of life, etc.). This might be something you want to look into for your work with the Qabbalah! They did a reprint of the deck sometime after 2007, and it has big black borders around the cards, where the original version of the deck is borderless. (The borderless is the one that I own ❤ I love it!). The original deck is sold in a yellow-ish/orangey box with The Hermit card on its cover. I really think it's an interesting deck with a lot of really interesting art interpretations, and that you'd enjoy working with it! It's Thoth-y, but has its own twists with some things I haven't seen in the Thoth before, as well as a lot of Pagan associations. Aeclectic forums has a review page that features more info and some images of the cards if you look up "Witches Tarot" on their search field. 😊 Should be the first result they spit back. Happy to see you again Nina! :) I love Thoth! I have a few more than I ever thought I would (2 vintage, 3 large sized (1 is the first deck I ever trimmed) and many Thoth based decks). My first tarot deck was the Thoth deck. I just love Lady Frieda Harris' artwork. I also love Zillich Tarot, Asherah Tarot, Tarot of the Spirit and Vision Quest Tarot.

I have one in English, and then a mini in German and a large one in French. Very continental 🧐. I would like to get Renata Lechner's rendition, the Millenial Thoth. I would love to see The Aleister Crowley deck in a review! I was avoiding that deck, it looked a bit too cartoonish, but now I like it as you show a few cards... I quite like the colour palette. I love Eakin's book and deck. I am about to dive into some other Thoth writers. I didn't know the Avatara Tarot was a Thoth-based deck! Wow. Thanks for sharing all of these...

Thanks for showing! Me too love the Thoth artwork and am slowly trying to learn to work with it. I as well have a greenie that I found a couple of years ago. I also have smaller white box, like you showed, that says small cards, but mine has white borders, not the brownish you showed,and I strongly suspect its not the original deck for that box. But they feel amazing to shuffle, and says "1996 AGMuller" on the front side. What do you think it is I have? I also have the Tabula Mundi. I like to use 2 decks together and I have found that original Thoth works very well with the Star Tarot. Sun and Moon tarot and Outgrow yourself tarot oracle are also loosely "thothy" : ) I am thinking of adding the Thoth Journey Tarot to my collection, it is quite beautiful.

You have to have any and everything MM Meleene has created , she's in process of a new deck right now based on crowleys 777
