That was intense! Great footage and breakdown! And for an even more realistic and immersive experience you can have someone spray you in the face with a garden hose on full while you do an hour of 600-1000W bursts on the trainer.

Good racing out there dude!
I was watching this race and had raced earlier in the day. The utility covers going outbound were really slick. I lost traction on my rear wheel but managed to stay up with some aggressive counter steering. Also a lot of standing water on the course at various points.
The fact that so meny people still decide to ride these corners in such a dangerous weather baffles me.
I respect it though.
Great breakdown, awesome to get the turn-by-turn thinking. I watched this race on the NorCal site as well and it is truly exceptional that anyone was able to stay upright while still being able to press through those corners in the wet. Awesome riding!

i wonder if it would be a better idea to run wet rain tires ... skinny tires in a wet tight course just sounds like a bad idea. motogp riders are probably better equipped for such conditions haha

Every team is good some just have bad races. Mikes bikes lost most of their riders this race but if you look at other races they have really good results. Maybe you should be more on the positive side.
