Happens on my old winXP laptop, when moving the game off my screen and back. It just gives up on refreshing.
My Skype did the same thing at 6:37 once. I travelled through like 3 time zones in a day and Skype didn't automatically follow so it flipped and had completely the wrong date. It was actually really funny getting messages that said "in three hours" because my phone and Skype weren't on the same time zone.
