This is the perfect ideal tornado that most people wish to see. Out in a field, doing its thing, not causing chaos. Very hypnotic.

And the clouds in the sky, my goodness, it's hard to even describe how thick those clouds are! They look like they've taken on a life of their own, different than when they are normal clouds. This is extremely spooky. My hat goes off to those who chase storms. I couldn't do it.

This is awesome footage! People wonder how those of us who live in California can live in a State that has earthquakes. But, the frequency of our earthquakes vs the frequency of these tornados (did I hear you say 4 so far that day?!), can’t be compared. I really feel for the good folks who live through these monsters and lose their homes, neighborhoods, family members, pets, etc. My heart goes out to them. Thank you for risking your safety for this footage. It’s perhaps the best I’ve ever seen.

These tornado crews always have a top dog, a Mr.-Know-It-All who's done this "countless times." He can be overemotional or completely calm, just so long as he establishes his dominance as the Go-To Guy, the man with the plan. And you have his green supporters at various levels who play their staggered roles. Interesting how we fall into such routine alignments. The dynamic is somewhat like the family: Dad is the boss; Mom has some experience, but she obeys Dad; and the kids are bug-eyed, scared, yet excited. Fun for the whole family.
