How to modify a Bluetooth speaker

  • I have this JKR 2 bluetooth speaker which wasent so great.
    But liked the design so i took an old speaker drivers and try to improve it and i can say i did mange to get a better sound.

    moving the battery clear of the passive sub would help a little as well. edit - there's probably not many options as to where to put it, so replacing it with a cylindrical battery would be a good option, instead of that old cell phone battery.

    that's cool, but basically all self-mods to Bluetooth speakers are more or less pass/fail aka 50/50. But either or you just earned yourself a new subscriber!!

    there's is zero point in having a passive subwoofer when they use closed back speakers in the box, haha! open back speakers produce pressure inside the enclosure, allowing the passive sub to do it's job, so there really should be a noticeable improvement, not much, but noticeable for sure.

      Yes but not by far. a better replacement speakers drivers could make a difference.

    Thats 5 watts, that's pretty good considering most convenience store BT speakers only have a 3 watt!!😃🤗

      The design is really nice but it could have been much better with a a bit stronger amplifier.

      @@iTestVlog yes, for sure, ive found that just simply hooking the speaker or audio output to some bookshelf speakers sounds pretty good
