ngl Iran is one of my favourite nations in hoi (only bested by Bhutan). Something about playing no powers and having to claw your way up from 1 civ to be comparable to powerhouses just adds so much more depth. You feel as if it is YOUR nation and not just one you inherit.

Another thing is that the IRGC acts alone as it isnt linked to the other branches of the Artesh nor does it report to the government but it does report to the supreme leader, On a last note the majority of Iranians dont support the Regime and its actions, i hope ive been able to clear some questions for you if you have any more I am happy to answer them
