“If King Arthur saw this he’d be like what the fuck?” Mike Matei
Just watching your Hyperscan video now. It’s your reactions and facial expressions are so fucking hilarious.
Mike keeps the dream alive.
If you like this, you should check out gunfire reborn. It has so many paths to build your character out, which they have many options to choose from. You get to pick whatever play style you like. Dueling wielding up close, sit back sniping, elemental / magic route, its really awesome! Each character has different abilities and if you beat the base game it just adds more options of difficulty, the later tiers get insane...
You got me to look it up and even wishlist it.
@@jasonjones6346 its a great game, lots of replay value. Theres a bit of RnG on picking a skill tree route but as you play more you understand how to make insanely powerful builds. With the increased difficulty, its a test of everything you learned.
Enjoyed watching this one, caught the live stream late so rewatching it on YT.
I love the resurgence of 80s coming out now. Truly we're great times
90s you mean
Hey Mike, I've been going through the Forgotten Worlds replay on twitch, and when you were playing Kid Chameleon, there was that knight powerup that you didn't really like. I didn't catch if you noticed what he's from. I think it's supposed to be from that game where you're the knight and you jump around in trees looking for fuckin crystals or something? And you have that weird innefectual melee attack where he just kinda wobbles the sword in front of his weenus...
If you look at the one in Kid Chameleon, the jumping animation is exactly the same, and I haven't seen any other game with such a tiktok'd jump animation. So I have to assume it's an intentional reference. Seems like an obscure one, unless some of the same developers worked on both games perhaps?
Anyway, just thought I'd share that pointless observation with you.
Hope you're well!
great couple of streams, fun watch- nice find Mike!
thats cool that they included the Blue Marlin on the NES box art to this game. Blue Marlin is my all time favorite game no contest
Looks like doom
have you played manhunt for ps2?
Hi Mike, heres a game recommendation. Remnant from the ashes is a souls like shooter in an apocalyptic future. It feels very rewarding since headshots or weakspot shots do a lot more damage. I played the game on hardest difficulty, which i wudnt recommend since some bosses seem almost unbeatable. But on the other side it felt very good to collect hidden items in order to be able to beat certain bosses. But i wud not suggest apocalypse difficulty! And 1 more thing the beginning is kinda bad and it takes like 15 min to get the game started. Best Markus!
I would agree. Got 20 hours on the game so far. Ya, it has a slow start, but after that the rest of the game (so far) has been great. But I have found I prefer playing it in co-op.
Hay Mike. A game that I have started playing and I'm rather enjoying. Is "Ion Fury". It's a 2019 FPS but plays and looks like classic Duke Nukem and classic Doom with the GZdoom core.
is this game made using an overhauled version of the duke nukem engine? the flow of gameplay is very similar.
the trap is clean
I just finished this masterpiece on "murder machine" and man it was almost more painful than doom eternal on ultra nightmare. But 11/10 game. Cant believe it doesn't get get more attention
Its a good game i agree
Hey Mike I watch these streams exclusively while I shit. Sure does help extracting the soft serve. Thanks!
This game is sick
Nope thats sick lol i love it
This looks so good Mike crazy game mived
You're awesome~🙃 great stream as always
Watching you playing this game on Twitch. It looks fun and really badass looking.😎
It's a really good game. Worth buying 100%
xastlevania v rising looks amazing
Fighting game?
That’s funny I asked if you were going to get a steam deck and your response was why I already have a pc. What changed?
Did I say that? Well because I didnt think about how I can stream with my computer and play the game on a separate device. Which I prefer to do. I feel like when I stream on my PC and play a game on it at the same time, I have had occasions where it was taxing on my PC. Mainly with really indie games that probably werent coded well or something. But those events (rare as they were) always made me want to separate the machine I stream on from the game. If that makes sense. And that was a thought I had after I said that to you. Which I believe I probably did say.
You did say that but how do you like it? Is it worth the money?
@Mike Matei I used to be in your Twitch chat under a different account, which I've totally lost the info for. And because you have phone number verification turned on, I can't get in on my current account. Is there anything you can do to help me? Thanks.
I’m not sure. You need that for my twitch chat. Maybe one of my mods would know what to do. I’m not that twitch savvy myself honestly. I’m still in atari land myself lol
You should try out Bullet Storm
I tried it on my own a while back. I wasn't really feeling it.
Seems to be hit or miss, the combos add a lot.
Masterpiece my friend! If you're a gow fan you'll love bullet storm!
How do people enjoy playing FPS with a gamepad? I mean, if you grew up with keyboard/mouse does it ever start to become fun?
I did grow up playing fps games with a keyboard and mouse. The mouse bothers my carpel tunnel way too much. Gamepad is okay, but there are some downsides to it for sure.
I grew up playing with mouse and keyboard and used to hate playing FPS on a gamepad but you do eventually get used to it, it's a more laid back way to play because you only have to move your thumbs compared to your whole hand
Was thinking about getting the steam deck... What do you think Mike? You like it? I'm not a PC guy so that would be my choice.
I think its great. But just know that not every game will work on it. But if it doesnt you can refund the game.
@@mikematei Oh sweet ok. When you going to try some hell divers 2??
If I had a nickel for every game that had Overkill in its title, I would have two nickels...which is not much but still more than I expected (this and Project Overkill on PS1). There are probably many more games with Overkill in its name probably.
I just had a look at my keyboard...and as a noob as far as FPS shooters go (the only ones I ever played were Goldeneye on NIntendo 64 which I loved to pieces and Prey on XBox 360...well, the ones I played through. I also played Perfect Dark Zero on XBox 360 but I only made it about 3/4ths in. Speaking of it...have you ever tried out Perfect Dark on Nintendo 64?) I fail to see why the WASD configuration is supposed to be good. How do you exactly place your fingers over those keys (for example, ASDF would feel more natural)? Then again, I never played an FPS on PC so I would not know until I tried it out.
Kinda curious whether this game was as much fun for you as the original Doom was or whether it had some features that made it even more fun than Doom in your opinion.
BTW, the box cover for Sim City on your Games I've Beaten On Stream list does not have a link.
@Mike Matei You should check out Sigma Star Saga on Gameboy Advanced.
There's plenty to like about the visuals, but I don't like the sideways holding of guns. There are reasons why guns aren't commonly held that way, good reasons.
There is only doom!
Play some more Serious Sam!
Hey how are you
Y is it that PC’s has the good games ?
Its a computer. Not a console.
Im about 98% sure games are made on computer
Hey Mike could you stream Quake Nightmare Mode? It's hands-down my favourite game and it's cool to see how everyone plays Quake differently
