Totally brilliant video we still have a ford 7610 2wd AP on our small farm in Ni I can remember a couple of our neighbors having NH719 harvesters in the 80s but they were quite hard to drive and didn't know that we'll compared to like s Jf 900 or mengele thanks for sharing 👍
Local contractor here had Ford 6 pot engines mounted on a 719 to save hammering a db1490 jf were a brilliant forager should check out the other videos I have of dad chopping with 1060jf did 700 acres a season n never stopped
Id imagine it’s an additive , they used to use molasses back in the day, it’ll be a modern equivalent- to boost fermentation and maximise sugar content and dry matter content
Fantastic video....... back in the day when we lifted 30 acre a day and thought we had a brilliant day .... much better days though 🇬🇧🚜💨
Brings back memories how we did it back in the day

What was the stuff he was shoveling ontop of the grass going into the silo blower?

Whereabouts was this filmed?
Near the Westbound A8 - coatbridge/Carnbroe - the upgrades to the road now meant that the majority of the farm got built on
😥
Great video. Iron bar would have do a nice bit of damage if it went any further
