Haloo interviewer, it makes more sense to interact with same language which interviewee and audience prefers. And almost we all look these videos to hear and know about interviewee(Vijaysethupathi here), and not to learn english. All languages are respectful, however communicating right to others should takes precedence.

A great FIND for the Tamil movie industry! He needs to do more NO-nonsense movies like Iraivi to prove his ACTING mettle. A string of movies like the stupid Kavan will bring him down to the rest of the average "stars" here. "Iraivi" is the heaviest role he did so far. He needs MORE no-nonsense roles like that. He has ALWAYS been good or excellent in other roles in other movies except Rekka (except the emotional scene when he meets his teacher again; he was phenomenal there!), Kavan etc. If he keeps doing "mass" mokkai films like Kavan, Rekka etc. he too will go DOWN the charts. He NEEDS to do more like Iraivi, Pannaiyaarum Padminiyum, NKPK, Vikram Vedha, Orange Mittai etc......I like the way he chooses his roles carefully.

The interviewer is really annoying. Always bringing the word character. Vijay sethupathi doesn't play as character. He play as himself. The reason if we play as character. We will focus only on the characters behavior and wont involve in a scene.
Interviewer - is hearing and talking. Tats y asking same questions even though asked same questions again and again. regarding character.
Vijay sethupathi - is listening and talking.
There is much difference between hearing and listening.
Interviewer thinking playing as character is right than playing as ourselves. Character means mechanical. Enjoying a moment in a scene or situation is great than preparing a scene.

The interviewer is not really listening to him and enjoys the talk of vijaysethupathi also why he is keep on trying to talk in English? Not presentable way he is not suitable for presenter or interviewer. He just read the question. But vijaysethupathi answers are great 👍

Kamal was very keen on proving his acting skills that's y his films became failure and not understandable to normal audience. But this guy has that sense we should not only focus on proving our acting skills moreover the content of the film matters. As you said he may be better actor but failed in executing the films to normal audience.
